These are the MLAs whose survey report is weak and their political hold on the assembly constituency has also become loose.

30 candidates have been announced in the first list of Congress released on October 15. Out of the 20 seats for which voting is to be held on November 7 in the first phase, Congress has so far declared candidates for 19 seats. Only the candidate from Jagdalpur seat has not been announced. There is talk in the political circles that the party is going to field a new face on Jagdalpur seat also. Tickets of 10 to 12 MLAs will be cut in the second list of Congress. From CM Bhupesh to many senior Congress leaders, they have been continuously saying that the party will give tickets only to the winning candidates, that is, new faces will be given a chance.

The party will release its second list of 40 to 45 names, in which apart from the lost seats, the seats of MLAs found weak in the survey report i.e. running in the danger zone will also be included. Sources are saying that Congress is going to sideline 10 to 12 MLAs in the second list.

The MLAs whose tickets have been cut by Congress in the first list; They include the names of Mamta Chandrakar from Pandaria, Chhanni Sahu from Khujji, Devati Karma from Dantewada, Anoop Nag from Antagarh, Rajman Benzam from Chitrakote, Shishupal Sori from Kanker, Bhuvneshwar Baghel from Dongargarh, Gurudayal Banjare from Navagarh. State Congress President and MP Deepak Baij will contest the elections in place of Rajman Benjamin. In place of Devati Karma from the Karma family, her son Chhaviendra Karma has now got a chance.
