PM Modi said that he has always had a special connection with Madhya Pradesh

    New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed confidence that due to their unwavering faith in the BJP, the voters of Madhya Pradesh will directly support him in the assembly elections like the last two Lok Sabha elections and will elect the “double engine” government.
In a letter addressed to the people of the state, Modi said he has always had a special connect with Madhya Pradesh and that is why the public showered him with unlimited affection while leading the BJP to unprecedented victories in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

PM Modi said that before 2014, the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh had to face many obstacles in its efforts for the development of the state and the welfare of the people due to the “step-motherly behaviour” of the Congress government at the Centre. In his letter shared on ‘X’, the Prime Minister said, “The country has seen that after BJP came to power at the Centre, new potential has developed in the state and Madhya Pradesh is moving towards a bright future while preserving its glorious history.” Has gone.”

PM Modi said that in the last 20 years, Madhya Pradesh has come out of its past of being a “sick” state and has become strong, prosperous and self-reliant. Prime Minister Modi said that due to people’s trust in BJP, Madhya Pradesh has become one of the top 10 economies of the country.

He said that due to the tireless efforts of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the BJP government in the last 20 years, the state has seen construction of more than five lakh kilometers of roads, a growth rate of more than 16 percent, piped water supply to more than 65 lakh houses and 28,000 rural areas. They are proud of producing more than a megawatt of energy. Modi said, “It is the result of the tireless efforts of you and the ‘double engine’ government that Madhya Pradesh is moving rapidly towards becoming one of the three states with the largest economy in the country.”
