At that time Assistant Police Sub Inspector (ASI) Satnam Singh was patrolling the area. They immediately reached the spot. He single-handedly surrounded them in the shop and caught two of them. However one person managed to escape. Police have said that all three people are associates of Arshdeep Dalla living in Canada.

Earlier, an audio clip of Arshdeep Dalla threatening a businessman from Punjab for extortion had surfaced. In this it is heard – The businessman said, “We already have a lot of problems and you are already troubling us.” On this Arshdeep Dalla said – “Listen to me, now be ready to be troubled. ”

Arshdeep Dalla is extorting money from businessmen, contractors, singers and liquor traders in Punjab through phone calls from Canada and is using that money to help in terrorist activities.

Who is Arshdeep Dalla?

Delhi Police has received information that Arshdeep Dalla is a Khalistani terrorist living in Canada. He has links with Pakistan’s terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and wanted to target Hindu leaders in Punjab.

Earlier this year, Dalla’s conspiracy to target leaders of Hindu organizations and BJP’s ideological wing Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was revealed during the Delhi Police action against two terror suspects. In January, the police had raided Jahangirpuri in Delhi and arrested Jagjit Singh Jagga and Naushad. Weapons were also recovered.

According to the Delhi Police charge sheet filed in the court, Jagga revealed that he was in touch with Dalla. The charge sheet states that a Khalistani terrorist present in Canada had asked Jagga to be prepared for terrorist activities in Punjab.

NIA has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has offered a reward of Rs 10 lakh for any information leading to Dalla’s arrest.

Arshdeep Dalla was close to Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Nijjar was killed in Canada in June. After this, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau blamed “Indian agents” for Nijjar’s murder. After this a diplomatic dispute arose between India and Canada. India rejected Trudeau’s claims, calling them “absurd” and “motivated”.
