Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had claimed that an Indian agent may have a hand in the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. On the India-Canada dispute, Bagchi said, “We are willing to look into any specific information provided regarding Nijjar’s case, but so far we have not received any specific information from Canada. India expels senior Canadian diplomat

He said, “Canada is not trying to provoke India over ‘agents’ being linked to the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, but we want New Delhi to handle this issue properly.”

Canada had issued travel advisory, India also responded
Canada on Tuesday issued an advisory to its citizens not to visit certain parts of India. On Wednesday, India also issued a similar advisory. After this, late at night Canada rejected India’s advisory. According to news agency AFP, Canada’s Public Safety Minister Dominic Lebneck said while talking to the media in Ottawa that his country is completely safe.
