According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is likely over Coastal Karnataka, North Kerala and South Interior Karnataka.
According to Skymet Weather, there are chances of light to moderate rain in Northeast India, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Whereas there may be light rain in Western Himalayas, Goa and Rayalaseema.

According to the Weather Center Jaipur, a new western disturbance is likely to become active in the western parts of the state on October 15. There is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the border areas of Western Rajasthan and some parts of Bikaner, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh in the afternoon. The maximum impact of this disturbance may be on 16-17 October. Due to the disturbance, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places along with thunder in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer and Jaipur divisions. Similarly, on October 18, there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the northern and eastern parts of the state.
Confirming the snowfall at higher places, Director of Meteorological Department Office, Surinder Paul said that from October 14, another western disturbance will hit Himachal Pradesh which will result in snowfall at higher places and rain at lower mountains.
