Tomorrow i.e. on 14th October, a Western Disturbance is likely to reach the Western Himalayas. A trough is extending from southern Karnataka to Comorin area. Apart from this, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over Western Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh. Due to this, fluctuations in weather activities may be seen. There may be snowfall along with rain in many areas of North India.
According to Skymet Weather, conditions are becoming favorable for withdrawal of monsoon from Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, some parts of Ganga banks of West Bengal and some areas of Odisha, Karnataka and Telangana, Maharashtra and remaining parts of Central Arabian Sea. Due to this, during the last 24 hours, heavy rain has been seen at some places from Kerala, Tamil Nadu to Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
There may be moderate rain in some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi in the next four days. According to Skymet Weather, light rain may also occur in Punjab and Haryana. Another weak weather system is coming on October 19, however, it will not be able to affect the entire plains.
There may be light rain and snowfall in Ladakh including Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. According to Skymet Weather, there may be snowfall in some parts of Himachal Pradesh on October 15. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep tomorrow.
