    The Narendra Modi government at the Center has given a surprise during the special session of Parliament. It is reported quoting sources that the Union Cabinet has women reservation bill (Women’s Reservation Bill) has been approved. After the proceedings of the first day of the special session of Parliament, a meeting of the Union Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of the PM at the Parliament House Annex on Monday evening. In which the Women’s Reservation Bill was approved.

    Regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill, Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel tweeted and said that it has got the approval of the Cabinet. He tweeted and wrote, only Modi government had the moral courage to fulfill the demand for women’s reservation. Which was proved with the approval of the cabinet. He congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this.

    Women’s Reservation Bill can be presented in Parliament on September 20

    There is also news that women reservation bill It can be presented in Parliament on 20 September. Since the announcement that the Parliament session will be held from 18-22 September, there is speculation that the government may bring Women’s Reservation Bill or other important bills in this session.

    Cabinet meeting lasted for more than one and a half hour

    This cabinet meeting took place at a time when there is speculation that some important legislative proposals may be approved. No official information has been given about the meeting which lasted for more than one and a half hours.

    Addressing the media before the session, Prime Minister Modi had said that the Parliament session is short but in terms of time it is ‘very big’, ‘valuable’ and full of ‘historic decisions’. In her remarks on the discussion in the Lok Sabha on completion of 75 years of Parliament, she emphasized that the contribution of women MPs has been increasing in the last few years. Leaders of various political parties have demanded the introduction of a Women’s Reservation Bill, which guarantees 33 percent reservation in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.

    Congress demands the ruling party to pass the Women’s Reservation Bill

    Congress on Tuesday demanded the ruling party to introduce the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha and get it passed unanimously. Party leader in the House, Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, while participating in the discussion on the topic ’75 years of parliamentary journey starting from the Constituent Assembly – achievements, experiences, memories and learning’, said that due to the efforts of their leader Sonia Gandhi, he was once elected to the Rajya Sabha. The bill had been passed, but now the time has come that the ruling party should present the bill related to giving 33 percent reservation to women in this session and play a role in giving it a concrete shape. He also requested the opposition parties to fix a day to present their views.

    Trinamool Congress also demanded passing of Women’s Reservation Bill

    Trinamool Congress on Monday urged the government to introduce and pass the Women’s Reservation Bill in the new Parliament building without any delay. Party leader in Lok Sabha Sudip Bandopadhyay raised this demand while participating in the discussion on the topic ’75 years of parliamentary journey starting from the Constituent Assembly – achievements, experiences, memories and lessons’. He also said that at a time when proceedings are about to begin in the new Parliament building, there should be no distinction between ‘India’ and ‘Bharat’. Trinamool Congress MP urged that the Women’s Reservation Bill should be introduced and passed in the new Parliament House. There should not be any delay in this. He alleged that nowadays bills are being passed without discussion, which is not a good thing.
