World Cup 2023: Warm-up match to be held between India and Netherlands tomorrow

World Cup 2023: Preparations for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 are in full swing. The World Cup is going to start on 5th October. But before that all the teams are busy playing warm up matches. India’s first warm-up match was scheduled to be against England, but the match was washed out due to rain. India’s second warm-up match is going to be against Netherlands tomorrow i.e. on 3rd October. In such a situation, the fans are worried that the second match might also get canceled due to rain. There will be a storm in the stadium tomorrow

India is going to play its second warm-up match against Netherlands. This match is going to start tomorrow at 2 pm. This match is going to be held at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The Meteorological Department has given information about the weather here before the match. What the Meteorological Department said may dash the fans’ hopes. IMD said that the sky will be cloudy on Tuesday. Here tomorrow rain may hamper the match a couple of times, then a storm may also come.

The match may be canceled

According to the Meteorological Department, the probability of rain on this ground tomorrow is 96 percent. Apart from this, the possibility of storm coming is also 46 percent. Before the World Cup, three practice matches have been affected due to rain. Out of which two matches were played in Thiruvananthapuram only. In such a situation, there is a possibility that tomorrow’s match may also be canceled due to rain.

Virat Kohli will not play the match

On the other hand, even if this match takes place, India’s star batsman Virat Kohli will not be able to participate in this match. Kohli has returned to Mumbai due to personal reasons, so he is not going to play against Netherlands.
