Puducherry: Puducherry registered a voter turnout of 77.90 per cent until 6 pm throughout its 30 constituencies, in accordance with the Election Fee (EC).
Karaikal district witnessed 76.74 per cent voter turnout whereas Puducherry district witnessed 78.14 per cent polling until 6 pm.
The Yanam constituency within the Union Territory recorded the best voting proportion of 85.76 per cent until 6 pm, whereas the Mahe constituency witnessed the bottom voting proportion of 69.92 per cent.
A complete of 10,04,507 electors are deciding the destiny of 324 candidates.
In the meantime, In Assam, the turnout within the third and remaining part of voting was 78.94 per cent whereas in West Bengal, the place polls are being held in eight phases, the turnout within the third part was 77.68 per cent until 5 pm, the Election Fee mentioned in an announcement.
