New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi wrote to Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra asking him to delay the state Meeting polls to be held on February 14.

The Congress CM urged the EC to postpone the Punjab polls for not less than six days “enabling about 20 lakh individuals to make the most of their proper to vote for the State Legislative Meeting”.
