Adam Hose, the England and Trent Rockets batsman, was rushed to the hospital after sustaining a significant injury during The Hundred 2025 match held at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. The injury happened late in the first innings of the game when the team was left with twenty balls. Hose was fielding close to mid-wicket when he attempted to prevent a powerful stroke from Michael Bracewell. He lost his footing and landed awkwardly, appearing to suffer a serious leg injury.
After a delay, medical personnel attended to him and he was stretchered off the field. An ambulance was called to the field to transport him for advanced medical care. The Trent Rockets went on to win the match against Southern Brave by four wickets, but the injury to Hose cast a shadow over the victory. Early indications suggest a dislocated ankle, an injury that might keep him out of action for a period of six to twelve weeks.
Further examinations will determine if surgery is required, which could prolong his recovery, possibly affecting his participation in the rest of the tournament and possibly longer.
