Amit Mishra, a leg-spin bowler who troubled many batsmen with his skillful deliveries, has retired from all forms of cricket. The announcement came on September 4th via social media. Mishra had been out of the Indian team and IPL for some time. He also wasn’t playing domestic cricket, prompting his decision to retire. Mishra played 22 Tests, 36 ODIs, and 10 T20 Internationals for India. He excelled in domestic cricket and the IPL, but his international career was limited due to the presence of Harbhajan Singh and Anil Kumble.
