Arjun Tendulkar, who took 16 wickets in four matches in the Ranji Trophy Plate Group, has not been included in the North East Zone team for the Duleep Trophy. This team, captained by Rongsen Jonathan, is scheduled to face Central Zone on August 28th. Arjun Tendulkar’s performance in the Ranji Trophy Plate Group, where he secured 16 wickets in four matches, helped Goa win the Plate Division title. Arjun has been playing for Goa since the 2022-23 season. During this time, the all-rounder made a memorable start for Goa, scoring a century in his first-class match in December 2023. In first-class cricket, he has 37 wickets and 532 runs to his name. Arjun, who made his List A debut for Goa in November 2022, has 25 wickets and 102 runs in 18 matches. Before moving to Goa, he made his T20 debut for Mumbai. Arjun has also played for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL. He has been with MI since 2021. The Duleep Trophy, starting August 28th, will feature prominent batsmen Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
