Following the win, Indian players did not engage in handshakes with the Pakistani team, prompting the PCB to lodge a complaint with the ICC. In response, BCCI officials have indicated that the emphasis is on celebrating the victory, and they are not paying attention to the surrounding discussions. BCCI Secretary, Devjit Saikia, highlighted the exceptional performance of Team India, urging everyone to enjoy the win without being distracted by the controversies. He further stressed the importance of acknowledging the players’ achievements. Suryakumar Yadav also spoke on the matter after the match.
