Jasprit Bumrah has confirmed his participation in the upcoming Test series against England. The star bowler, addressing concerns about his fitness, revealed that he is slated to play in at least three Tests. Bumrah has been dealing with a back injury, which sidelined him from the Champions Trophy and some IPL 2025 matches. He has recovered and is now back in contention for the England series. During an interview with Dinesh Karthik on Sky Sports Cricket, Bumrah specified that he will definitely play the first Test, with further participation contingent on his physical condition and the demands of the matches. He stated his preference for managing his workload effectively to ensure peak performance.
