According to media reports, Pant has not yet received the certificate of passing the fitness test from the Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI.
According to the information, Delhi Capitals Director Sourav Ganguly had said a few days ago that Pant will get the fitness certificate from NCA on March 5 but this has not happened till now. If the media is to be believed, the experts of National Cricket Academy i.e. NCA are not considering Pant as match fit. This means that according to NCA, Pant is not fit to play the match. His team has also not yet included his name in its squad (Delhi Capitals Squad 2024). In such a situation, the suspense has deepened on Pant playing in IPL 2024.
Pant had a car accident last year
Let us tell you that Delhi Capitals captain Pant did not play last season because he had a car accident on December 30, 2023, in which he suffered a ligament injury.
