Ravindra Jadeja has played all the 4 matches for Team India so far. He got a chance to bat twice. He could not do anything special both the times. Jadeja could not even open his account against Pakistan, in that match he came to bat at number three. After this, Jadeja did not get a chance to bat against Ireland and America. Then when he came to play against the Afghan team, he was out after scoring just 7 runs, while Jadeja had a great chance to play a big innings, but he could not take advantage.

Fourth match- The match against Canada was cancelled due to rain. Fifth match- Jadeja was able to open his account against Afghanistan, he got 1 wicket.

May have to be out of the playing eleven

Team India now has to face Bangladesh and Australia to secure a place in the semi-finals. Therefore, Rohit Sharma will field a strong playing 11. In these matches, Yuzvendra Chahal may replace Jadeja, who has not got a chance to play even a single match so far.
