Saliya Saman, a former Sri Lankan domestic cricketer, has been banned for five years by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The ban stems from violations of the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) anti-corruption code during the 2021 Abu Dhabi T10 League. Saman was one of eight individuals charged with breaching the code in September 2023. These charges relate to attempts to corrupt matches in the 2021 Abu Dhabi T10 Cricket League, which were thwarted by the ICC and the Designated Anti-Corruption Official (DACO) of the ECB.
