IND vs SL ODI: Sri Lanka cricket team is going through a phase of injuries. 5 star players of the team have been ruled out of the ongoing ODI series between India and Sri Lanka. On August 3, the team suffered a major setback in the form of Wanindu Hasaranga. Hasaranga is considered the biggest threat to India, who brought Sri Lanka back in the match by taking the wickets of Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav in the very first match, he took three wickets for 58 runs in 10 overs and also played an important innings of 24 runs. Including Hasaranga, 5 star players of Sri Lanka have been ruled out of this series so far.

1. Dilshan Madushanka- This left-arm fast bowler has a hamstring injury. Therefore, he is out of the entire series.
2. Mathisha Pathirana- Right-arm fast bowler, whose action resembles that of legend Lasith Malinga, is also out of this series. Pathirana is troubled by a shoulder injury.
3. Dushmantha Chameera- This right-arm fast bowler is also out of the series as he is suffering from bronchitis and respiratory infection.
4. Nuwan Thushara – This fast bowler suffered a thumb fracture during a practice session, after which he is out of the entire series.
5. Wanindu Hasaranga- The team’s star leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga felt pain in his hamstring, after which the injury was confirmed and he is out of the entire series.
