India has emerged victorious in the 2025 Hockey Asia Cup, defeating South Korea with a score of 4-1. This win marks India’s fourth time claiming the Asia Cup title and guarantees their participation in the upcoming FIH Hockey World Cup in 2026, co-hosted by the Netherlands and Belgium. The Indian team’s performance was outstanding, building on their earlier efforts, which included a draw against Korea. Sukhjeet Singh, Dilpreet Singh (with two goals), and Amit Rohidas scored for India, while Dain Son netted a goal for Korea. The closing moments saw the crowd’s cheers as the Indian team held strong. India’s path to the final included a dominant 7-0 victory against China in the Super 4s, featuring goals from various players, including two from Abhishek, and one each from Shilanand Lakra, Dilpreet Singh, Mandeep Singh, Raj Kumar Pal, and Sukhjeet Singh.
