India vs Bangladesh 1st Test: Bangladesh’s performance against Team India was very poor in the first innings of the Chennai Test. The Bangladeshi team was all out for 149 runs in the first innings. Earlier, Team India was all out for 376 runs in the first innings. Team India is still 227 runs ahead of Bangladesh. Jaspreet Bumrah, Akash Deep and Mohammad Siraj bowled brilliantly for India.
Shakib Al Hasan scored the highest 32 runs for Bangladesh. He faced 64 balls and hit 5 fours. Liton Das scored 22 runs in 42 balls. While Mehdi Hasan Miraz scored an unbeaten 27 runs. Captain Nazmul Hussain Shanto returned to the pavilion after scoring 20 runs. Indian bowlers did not let the pressure reduce. In this way the whole team collapsed on a score of 149 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah completed 400 wickets
On the second day of the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai, Jasprit Bumrah achieved a big feat. He has touched the magical figure of 400 wickets in international cricket. He became the 10th Indian bowler to do so. Talking about fast bowling, he became the sixth Indian fast bowler to achieve this feat. India put 376 runs on the board in the first innings.
Apart from Bumrah, other fast bowlers to achieve this feat are Kapil Dev, Javagal Srinath, Zaheer Khan, Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma. In terms of matches, Bumrah is the fastest, he achieved this feat in just 196 matches.
