Indian Batting Collapse Costs Series Against Australia

The Indian-A women’s team faced a must-win situation in the second T20I after losing the first match of their Australian tour. However, their batting performance was woeful, resulting in a loss of the match and the series. Australia-A, batting first, scored 187 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs. In response, the entire Indian team was dismissed for 73 runs in 15.1 overs. Dinesh Vrinda top-scored for India with 21 runs, followed by Minnu Mani with 20. No other batter managed to reach double figures. Kim Garth of Australia took 4 wickets for just 7 runs in 3 overs, while Amy Edgar and Tess Flintoff each took two wickets.
