Saba Karim believes Mumbai Indians (MI) have the upper hand in Qualifier 2 against Punjab Kings (PBKS) due to their current form, and he hopes Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will win the IPL. Karim’s statements were made during the Fit India ‘Sundays on Cycle’ event in Delhi. Reflecting on the MI-PBKS match, Karim noted MI’s strong momentum and bowling as key advantages. PBKS, though leading in the league stage, faced a defeat against RCB, while MI had a strong batting performance in the eliminator against Gujarat Titans (GT). Concerning RCB and Virat Kohli, Karim acknowledged Kohli’s excellent performance. Kohli has 614 runs in 14 matches. Saba also mentioned India’s upcoming tour of England, led by Shubman Gill, providing opportunities for young players. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appreciation of Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s talent was also lauded. Suryavanshi scored 252 runs in seven matches. The England tour begins June 20, with the first Test at Leeds.
