A concerning situation has emerged for the Bangladesh cricket team as captain Litton Das is reportedly injured ahead of their Asia Cup clash with India. The injury occurred during a practice session at the ICC Academy Ground where Das experienced a back spasm while batting. The specific nature of the injury is a muscle pull on the left side of his lower back after attempting a square cut. Team physio Bayzidul Islam provided immediate treatment. The team is awaiting the results of medical examinations to ascertain whether Das will be fit to play against India. His absence would be a major loss for Bangladesh, given his current form in the Asia Cup, where he has scored 119 runs with a strike rate of 129.34.
