In a display of deep respect, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the family of Arun Jaitley, his late friend. Those present included Rohan Jaitley, the current DDCA President, along with his wife, mother, sister, and daughter. Arun Jaitley’s tenure as Finance Minister from 2014 to 2019 was marked by significant contributions to the nation. He received the Padma Vibhushan posthumously. Rohan Jaitley, a lawyer and sports administrator, has been praised for his leadership at the DDCA. He also practices law in the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. His efforts have been instrumental in promoting cricket, including the hosting of World Cup matches and the establishment of the Delhi Premier League.
