The New Zealand cricket team will be without Rachin Ravindra for their T20 series against Australia. Ravindra sustained an injury during fielding practice, colliding with the boundary hoardings while attempting to make a catch. The impact resulted in facial injuries that required stitches, forcing him to withdraw from the series. His absence is a major disappointment for the Kiwis as he is a key player in their batting order. The series is set to begin on October 1st, with the subsequent matches on October 3rd and 4th. Jimmy Neesham has been named as Ravindra’s replacement. The New Zealand Cricket Board released a statement regarding the injury and wished Ravindra a swift recovery. Earlier, Australia also faced a setback with Glenn Maxwell, their star all-rounder, being ruled out of the series.
