An unusual scenario has emerged where Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers mistakenly contacted a fan, believing they were reaching RCB captain Rajat Patidar. This occurred because Patidar’s old phone number had been deactivated and reassigned. The number, which was inactive for more than three months, was given to Manish, who resides in the Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh. Upon activating the SIM card, Manish noticed Patidar’s photo on WhatsApp. He then began receiving calls from prominent cricketers, including Kohli and de Villiers. The situation came to light when Patidar attempted to regain control of the number, which was essential for his professional and personal contacts. This ultimately led to the police getting involved, and the SIM card was subsequently returned to Patidar. The incident provided a unique opportunity for Manish’s friend, Khemraj, who was able to connect with Kohli.
