Karachi Kings are wasting no time gearing up for PSL 2026, announcing Reeza Hendricks as the replacement for Johnson Charles just days before the March 26 start. The South African’s inclusion addresses a key gap left by the West Indies batter’s personal withdrawal.

A top-order maestro at 36, Hendricks has a stellar T20I record for South Africa: 2,504 runs in 89 innings from 90 matches, with a 129.20 strike rate, one century, 18 fifties, and a best of 117. His comprehensive T20 stats—8,372 runs in 277 innings across 296 games, with five hundreds and 64 fifties—cement his reputation as a league veteran.

Hendricks shone in PSL 2024 for Multan Sultans, blasting 304 runs in eight innings at 43.42 and 134.51 strike rate. He now bolsters Karachi’s international lineup alongside David Warner, Adam Zampa, Moeen Ali, and Mohammad Waseem.

The Kings’ campaign launches March 27 versus Quetta Gladiators. Hendricks’ blend of consistency and aggression could prove pivotal, positioning Karachi as serious contenders in this high-octane edition of the PSL.
