Salman Ali Agha, the all-rounder, has been appointed as the captain of the Pakistan team for the Asia Cup. This decision follows Pakistan’s strong performance in the T20I series against the West Indies, where they secured a 2-1 victory after losing the series in Bangladesh. Pakistan has been placed in Group A of the Asia Cup alongside India, Oman, and the UAE. Their first match in the tournament will be against Oman on September 12th, followed by a match against India on September 14th. They will then face the UAE on September 17th.
