According to the report, Rafikul Islam said that on August 5, his son Rubel was protesting in the Ring Road area of Adabar, along with many of his fellow students. Rafikul alleges that 147 people, including Shakib, had ordered firing on the protesters, so Rubel was injured during the firing, he died in the hospital two days later.
