Cricket fans are in for a treat as Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates prepare for a T20 tri-series in Sharjah, organized by the Emirates Cricket Board. This tournament will be a key part of the preparation for the Asia Cup 2025, taking place in August and early September. The series will follow a round-robin format, with each team playing the others twice. The top two teams will then advance to the final match. The matches are slated to begin at 7:00 PM local time. Pakistan, ranked 8th in the T20I standings, will face Afghanistan (9th) and UAE (14th). The Asia Cup 2025, scheduled for September 9-28, will showcase eight teams in the T20 format. Pakistan is currently engaged in a white-ball series against West Indies, having already secured a victory in the first match.
