The DPL 2025 witnessed a dominant display by South Delhi Superstarz, who secured a 46-run victory against Purani Dilli 6. The match was highlighted by Sumit Beniwal’s outstanding bowling performance. Beniwal’s pace and accuracy were too much for the Purani Dilli 6 batsmen to handle. After South Delhi Superstarz set a target of 184, Beniwal spearheaded the attack, dismantling the opposition’s top order during the powerplay. He finished with figures of 5 for 19. Abhishek Khandelwal supported him with 4 for 31. Ekansh Dobal’s half-century provided some resistance, but Purani Dilli 6 ultimately crumbled, scoring 138. Earlier in the day, South Delhi Superstarz had built their innings around a 70-run opening stand between Anmol Sharma and Ankur Kaushik. Sharma played a pivotal role with a well-compiled 50, and Vision Panchal’s late innings contribution of 27 pushed the score above 180. Lalit Yadav and Rajneesh Dadar took three wickets each for Purani Dilli 6.
