After India’s triumph in the Asia Cup 2025, where they defeated Pakistan in the final, Suryakumar Yadav declared he would donate his match fees to the Indian Army and victims of the Pahalgam attack. The decision came after India’s victory at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Yadav’s message, shared on social media, expressed his commitment: “I have decided to donate my match fees from this tournament to support our Armed Forces and the families of the victims who suffered from the Pahalgam terror attack. You always remain in my thoughts. Jai Hind.” Considering the earnings of INR 4 lakh per match for each Indian player, and with seven matches played, Suryakumar Yadav will donate INR 28 lakhs. In the Asia Cup final, India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets, with Kuldeep Yadav taking 4 wickets.
