The BCCI has entrusted Suryakumar Yadav, the son-in-law of hotelier Devdas Shetty, with the captaincy for the Asia Cup 2025. Considering his past captaincy record, the BCCI has decided to retain Suryakumar Yadav as captain for the Asia Cup. Under his leadership, India has won 18 out of 23 T20I matches played.
