  • CG NEWS: Teacher molested a school student, police arrested the accused

The girl student was molested by a librarian teacher posted in the school.     According to the information received, Principal Shambhunath Sahu of Eklavya Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya lodged a report in Kasdol police station that a student studying in class 11th in Eklavya Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya located in village Sonakhan has been molested by the accused librarian of the school. On the report of which a crime has been registered in Kasdol police station under section 74 BNS and 12 POCSO Act and investigation has been taken up. In this case, accused librarian Sanjay Kumar (31 years), resident of village Kurda (Champa) district Janjgir-Champa has been arrested, who will be presented before the court today on 20 September.

  • There are huge irregularities in security and other arrangements in cement plants, Collector issued notice to Shri Cement, Nuvoco and Nuvista

On the instructions of the collector, investigation action was taken in Shri Cement Khapardih, Nuvoco Vistas Cement Sona Dih and Nuvista Cement Plant Risda, in which the investigation committee found huge irregularities in other arrangements including security in the plants. After receiving the investigation reports, the collector has issued notices to all three companies.

    Let us tell you, a joint team of officers has been formed by the Department of Labor, Industrial Health and Safety, District Transport, District Trade and Industry Center and Mineral Department to investigate the companies with the aim of reducing the frequent accidents in the industrial companies established in the district and providing a safe environment to the workers. In the investigation of the joint team on August 30, huge irregularities have been found in the cement plants Nuvoco Vistas Sonadih, New Vista Risda and Shri Cement Khapardih, after which show cause notices have been issued to all the three plants and instructions have also been given to improve the working system.

    Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Limited, Sonadih Cement Plant was inspected. During the inspection, instructions were given to ensure 100% compliance of rules and remove deficiencies. Action was asked to be taken as per rules regarding registration in Labour Welfare Board, building and other construction, salary payment. Assistant Director, Industrial Health and Safety issued a show cause notice after finding violations under the Factory Act 1948 and CG Factory Rules 1962. The District Transport Officer conducted an investigation regarding overloading, valid license, safe transportation. The District Trade and Industry Center directed to submit a report regarding local employment and government and private land allotment, land acquisition and its utilization, lease etc. under the Industrial Policy. Deputy Director Minerals issued a show cause notice after finding violations under the Mines and Minerals Act 1957 in M/s Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Limited, Sonadih.

    During the inspection, Assistant Director, Industrial Health and Safety Manish Kunjam, District Transport Officer Alok Dewangan, Labor Officer Suraj Kumar, District Mineral Officer Kundan Banjare and Industry and Trade General Manager Lewis Lakra along with other officers and employees were present.

  • Collector became strict on delay and negligence in Jal Jeevan Mission, five careless contractors were blacklisted

    Arvind Mishra, Balodabazar. Collector Deepak Soni has taken strong action showing strong displeasure over the delay in the work going on under Jal Jeevan Mission. He has blacklisted 5 contractors for negligence.

    In this action, the collector has blacklisted Saumitra Construction Janjgir, Parijata Construction Janjgir, Rekhachand Agarwal Raipur, Raghav Construction Janjgir and Sunil Agarwal Baradwara. All these firms (companies) were not able to improve their work despite repeated warnings and notices, so strict action has been taken against them. Along with this, about 70 construction companies for 190 works in the district have been given permission to complete their work by extending the time with penalty.

    Collector Deepak Soni said that any kind of negligence in Jal Jeevan Mission works will not be tolerated. He said that before starting work under Jal Jeevan Mission, the engineers should ensure that there is availability of water source in the concerned village. Do not allow any work to start without availability of water source. He warned all the engineers of the department and instructed them to continuously monitor the work being done by the contractor and keep following up for progress. If any deficiency in quality is found, action will be taken against you as well.

  • CM Baghel started labor pension assistance scheme, now workers will get this much amount every month
