    Bhilai. Deepak Singh alias Deepak Nepali’s brother Lukesh Singh, who is serving a sentence in Durg district jail for the Mahadev Satta App and attempted murder case, has made an emotional appeal to the Durg SP. Lukesh has released a video on social media and has requested not to take his brother on remand and not to harm him. This video is going viral on social media.

    In the viral video, Lukesh Singh told the Durg SP, “Why don’t you understand my feelings? I am speaking in full consciousness, please understand my feelings, what is happening there, what is not happening. SP sahab… I request you with folded hands that please don’t hurt my brother, don’t take him in remand. I don’t want to do anything wrong with him. Please just understand my feelings. You also have a wife and children at home and your children will also grow up. Everyone’s fate is bad. Everyone has to go up. I also have to go and anyone else has to go.”

    Deepak and Lukesh are not just brothers but also crime partners

He was arrested by Jamul police station in the case of running the panel of Mahadev Satta App. But as soon as brother Deepak Nepali was released from jail, Lukesh came under political protection and got involved in the political activities of BJP.

    He has been associated with Vaishali Nagar MLA Rakesh Sen since the assembly elections. Rakesh Sen has also made him his representative of the health department. Due to which, a few days ago he had put up posters all over the city to organize a health camp. In which the photo of MLA Rakesh Sen and Lukesh is visible. But after a few days the poster was removed from the entire city.

    Deepak Nepali is serving his sentence in jail

    It is worth noting that Deepak Nepali is a monitored criminal of Vaishali Nagar police station, he has direct links with Saurabh Chandrakar, the founder of Mahadev Satta App. Due to which he has also been arrested. In the month of July, Durg court had sentenced him to 7 years of imprisonment after finding him guilty in the case of attempted murder. Since then he is serving sentence in Durg Central Jail. When Durg SP Jitendra Shukla was talked about this video, he said that the person speaking in the video seems to be in a state of intoxication. It is also not clear what he is trying to say.

  • High speed bike collides with trailer, one youth dies, two injured

    Manendra Patel, Bhilai. Last night, three bike riders collided with a trailer going ahead at the signal in Khursipar Gate Bhilai. In this accident, a young man riding the bike died, while his two companions are seriously injured, they have been referred to Durg District Hospital for treatment. Police has seized the trailer and started investigating the incident.

    According to the information received from Khursipar police station, the deceased has been identified as Lokesh Chandel (23 years) resident of Janjgir-Champa. Lokesh used to work as a porter in Daldal Seoni of Raipur. He had come to Durg with his two friends for some work. From here, all three were going from Bhilai to Raipur on the same bike. Lokesh’s friend was driving the bike and Lokesh was sitting behind. All three had consumed alcohol. They were driving the bike very fast in an intoxicated state. A big trailer was going ahead of them.

    At around 9.30 pm, as soon as the red light came on at the signal near Khursipar Gate, the trailer driver applied brakes and stopped the vehicle. The bike rider coming from behind could not control and the bike directly collided with the rear of the trailer. Lokesh got a severe head injury and fell unconscious on the spot. Lokesh died before reaching the hospital. Two companions are injured, who are undergoing treatment. Khursipar police has seized the trailer and started investigation.
