  • BJP Releases Second Candidate List for Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Polls |

    Jammu and Kashmir Election 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its second list of candidates for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, which will be conducted in three phases on September 18, September 25, and October 1. The counting of votes is scheduled for October 4. The second list has names of 29 candidates for the second and the third phase. The first list had 15 names. With this, the party has announced a total of 44 candidates out of the total 90 seats.

    In the second phase, the party has nominated candidates for various constituencies:

    Habba Kadal – Ashok Bhat
    Gulabgarh (ST) – Mohammad Akram Chaudhary
    Reasi – Kuldeep Raj Dubey
    Shri Mata Vaishno Devi – Baldev Raj Sharma
    Kalakote-Sunderbani – Thakur Randhir Singh
    Budhal (ST) – Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali
    Thannamandi (ST) – Mohd. Iqbal Malik
    Surankote (ST) – Syed Mushtaq Ahmad Bukhari
    Poonch Haveli – Chowdhary Abdul Ghani
    Mendhar (ST) – Murtaza Khan

    The BJP is contesting these elections with a focus on strengthening its foothold in the region. The upcoming elections are seen as crucial for the party to establish its influence and address local issues in Jammu and Kashmir.

    Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: In a likely development, the political parties that are part of the National Democratic Alliance today elected Narendra Modi as the leader of the block. With this, the stage is set for Modi to become Prime Minister once again. However, the NDA allies will meet President Droupadi Murmu on June 7 after another meeting of the NDA bloc. “India has seen the spread of public welfare policies and development work in the last 10 years under the leadership of Narendra Modi. After a long gap of around 6 decades, the public has elected a government for the third consecutive time with a clear majority. We are proud to have contested and won the 2024 Lok Sabha election under the leadership of Narendra Modi. We elect Narendra Modi as our leader unanimously,” said the NDA in a statement.

    As per reports, the Telugu Desham Party (TDP), the second largest party in the NDA after the BJP, has demanded the post of the Lok Sabha speaker and two ministries. The BJP has 240 seats, TDP 16 and the JDU 12. While TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has ruled out switching to the INDIA bloc, JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar has said that his party is with the BJP and asked the saffron party leaders to take quick action to form the government.

    Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda will hold talks with the allies to finalise the terms and conditions for the formation of the government. Modi is likely to take oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third time on June 8.

    In the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the BJP-led NDA secured 292 seats while the Congress-led INDIA bloc bagged 234 seats. While the INDIA bloc is 38 seats short of the majority mark, the Congress is trying to bring together its former allies to keep the BJP away from the forming government.

    The leaders who attended the NDA meeting are Narendra Modi, J.P. Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Chandrababu Naidu of TDP, Nitish Kumar of JDU, Eknath Shinde of Shiv Sena, H.D.   • Jihadis From Across Borders Supporting SP, Congress: PM Modi |

    New Delhi: Aiming for a third consecutive term, Prime Minister and BJP senior Leader Narendra Modi accused the INDIA alliance of receiving support from Pakistan and jihadis. On Sunday, while addressing the rally at Uttar Pradesh’s Bansgaon rally BJP leader said that prayers are being read in Pakistan for the Samajwadi Party and the Congress who are appealing for “vote jihad” here.

    “Prayers are being read for the win of the INDI alliance of SP and Congress in Pakistan. Jihadis are supporting them from beyond the borders. SP and Congress are appealing for ‘Vote-Jihad’,” he said.

    Addressing a rally in Bansgaon, PM Modi asserted that June 4 is going to decide the future of India and on the same day India’s race to become the third-largest economy will also begin.

    “June 4, 2024, is going to decide the future of India. The country will spread its wings and take a new flight on June 4 towards the resolve of ‘Amrit Kaal’, building a developed India, and fulfilling the dreams of 140 crore Indians. Millions of people are eagerly waiting for that day. On June 4, the countdown of India’s race to become the third largest economy will also begin,” he said.

    Modi also said that there are many youths are getting benefits out of the Mudra scheme, “Those 3 crore poor who will get pucca houses, elderly people above 70 years of age who will get free treatment of up to Rs 5 lakhs, crores of youth who will be benefitted out of Mudra scheme,” he said.

    “Those 3 crore sisters of self-help groups who will become ‘Lakhpati didi’ and crores of people who will be getting free electricity under PM Surya Ghar scheme are waiting for June 4,” he also added.

    Rajasthan Assembly elections: BJP has released the second list of its candidates for Rajasthan Assembly elections. There are names of 83 candidates in this list. Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje has been given ticket from Jhalrapatan, she is the MLA from here. Satish Punia has been given the ticket from Amber, while Jyoti Mirdha has been given the ticket from Nagaur.

    Rajendra Rathore was given ticket from Taranagar.

    Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Rajendra Rathod has been given ticket from Taranagar. Santosh Ahlawat has been given ticket from Surajgarh. Siddhi Kumari from Bikaner East and Santosh Bawri from Anupgarh (SC) are in the fray.

    Central Election Committee approved 83 names

    The Central Election Committee of BJP has approved these 83 names in the meeting held under the chairmanship of party president JP Nadda on October 20. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah were present in this meeting. The decision on these names has been taken with their consent. Earlier the party had released the list of 41 candidates. The party has declared the names of a total of 124 candidates so far. Voting is to be held in Rajasthan on 25th November and counting of votes will take place on 3rd December.

    Congress released the first list of 33 candidates

    It is noteworthy that Congress has also released the first list of 33 candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly elections today. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s name is also in this list. Apart from these, names of CP Joshi and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot are also in the list. According to the Congress list, Ashok Gehlot will contest elections from Sardarpura only. Sachin Pilot will contest from Tonk assembly constituency from where he is the MLA. Congress has given ticket to Assembly Speaker CP Joshi from Nathdwar.
