    The dates of assembly elections to be held in five states at the end of this year have been announced (Five States Assembly Election 2023 Date Announced). Assembly elections will be held in the five states from 7 to 30 November, in Madhya Pradesh voting will be held in a single phase on 17 November. Voting will be held in two phases in Chhattisgarh on November 7 and November 17. Elections will be held in Rajasthan on 23 November, Mizoram on 7 November. Voting will be held in Telangana on 30 November. Counting of votes will take place on December 3.

    60 lakh youth will vote for the first time-EC

    In Chhattisgarh alone, elections will be held in two phases and in all the remaining four states, voting will be held in a single phase. 16 crore voters in five states will exercise their franchise. In which there are more than 8 crore male voters and 7.8 crore female voters. 60 lakh youth will vote for the first time. There are 679 assembly seats in the five electoral states. The voting percentage of women has already increased in all the states. The voter list will be released on 17th October, corrections can be made in it till 23rd October.

Preparations for the elections were going on for the last 6 months. Candidates with criminal record will have to give information about their case. Elderly voters will be able to exercise their franchise from home. He said that no polling station will be at a distance of more than 2 km. Additional polling stations will be created for tribals. The Election Commission has appealed to all the countrymen to vote enthusiastically.
