The accused had lured the minor from Bhilai to Madhya Pradesh and after marrying her, took her to Nagpur. Where he kept raping the minor for about 10 days. The police have recovered the minor.     According to the information, a report was lodged that a minor girl living in a village of Old Bhilai police station area was abducted by an unknown person. After which the police started investigating. Along with this, the abducted girl and unknown accused were being traced. During this time, on October 1, the police received information that Sonu alias Rajkumar (Gomeshwar) was in his village with the Garhwal kidnapper.

    As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and recovered the kidnapper. When the police interrogated the victim, she told that Rajkumar alias Sonu Gomeshwar (29 years) lured her with the promise of marriage and took her to his village Mundarai, Seoni, Madhya Pradesh and after marrying her in a Shiva temple somewhere, took her to Nagpur from the village the next day. . After this, from 14 to 25 September 2024, the victim was raped by forced physical relations. After this information came to light in the case, the police registered a case against the accused under sections 137 (2), 87, 64 (2) (M) BNS, 6 POCSO Act. After which the accused has been arrested and sent to jail on judicial remand.
