    Raipur. For the first time, the second main board examination is being organized in Chhattisgarh. The second main opportunity examination of high school and higher secondary organized by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has started from today. Today, the Hindi subject examination of class 12th was held. Board secretary Pushpa Sahu visited various examination centers and reviewed the examination arrangements. She said, not a single case of cheating has been reported in this examination.

    During the surprise inspection at Government Higher Secondary School Supela, Bhilai today, Secretary of MASIMAN, Sahu gave strict instructions to the centre head not to lock the main gate. All entries were directed to be filled completely in the prescribed format. She also inspected the examination centre Government Higher Secondary School Bhilai 3. The examination was found to be conducted smoothly here. During the inspection of the examination centres, the Under Secretary of the Board, Bhoj Ram Sahu, Assistant Professor Preeti Shukla were also present. MASIMAN has already given instructions to all the centres regarding the smooth conduct of the examination. The centre heads have also been given training regarding the preparation and precautions for the examination.

    227 have been made in the state

    Secondary Education Board Secretary Pushpa Sahu said, supplementary, absent, failed and category improvement students appeared in this examination. Class XII board examination was held today in 227 examination centers. 37548 students are registered. Flying squad teams have been deployed to prevent cheating. Not a single cheating case has been reported. Class XII board examination will be held from 23 July to 12 August. Class X examination will be held from 24 July to 8 August.

This action has been taken against (ABEO) doing non-teaching work under the instructions of the government.

In this episode, on Monday, the Collector along with the administrative staff reached the schools in the remote areas of Mainpat in the series of surprise inspection. Collector Bhoskar first reached the Government Primary School Dhodhadih by walking about 2 km through a rocky complex path. After this, he crossed the Machhli river on foot and inspected the Primary School Karamha and Anganwadi Center. Also, during the inspection, he also visited Government Pre-Secondary School Karamha, Primary School Birsapani, Primary School Kadamtikara and Anganwadi centers.

    During the inspection, Collector Vilas Bhoskar observed the arrangements of all the schools and took stock of the necessary facilities for the children. He observed the attendance of students, teachers, cleanliness, drinking water and electricity arrangements. He instructed the teachers to be serious in giving quality education to the children and said that giving good education to the children is our priority, negligence in this will not be tolerated.

    The collector inspected the mid-day meal

    Collector Bhoskar, while directing to increase the attendance of children, said that teachers themselves should meet the parents and motivate them to send their children to school. While reviewing the mid-day meal, he directed to provide food as per the menu, which must include green vegetables. Along with this, he directed the BEO to ensure necessary facilities for children for mid-day meal.

    Children recited tables and poems, the collector praised them

    During the inspection, Collector Bhoskar met the children and asked them questions. During this, the children also recited multiplication tables and poems, for which he encouraged them by giving chocolate biscuits. When Jaswant, a student of class VII of Pre Madhyamik Shala Karma, recited the tables of 16 and 19 fluently to the Collector, he was happy and praised him and presented his pen and wished him a bright future. During this, SDM Ravi Rahi, district and block level officers were also present with the Collector.

Let us tell you that on the morning of 15th July, the dead body of jail guard Inos Baksh of Central Jail Jagdalpur was found in suspicious condition in Markeel village of Nagarnar police station area. At first the police was considering it an accident, but later it turned out to be a case of murder. Police has arrested Suresh Baghel, Sadhuram Nag and Kameshwar Baghel in this case.

    It is being told that on the night of the murder, the three accused and jail guard Inos Baksh drank alcohol. During this time, an argument broke out between the accused and the jail guard over an obscene video. The accused beat up jail guard Inos Baksh for deleting the video. The accused fled from the spot leaving Inos Baksh half dead on the roadside. After this, the accused went to Mumbai, Tirupati and Konta. The police have arrested all the three accused from Konta.

  • Police took a big action against gamblers, 22 accused including councilor and district member arrested in the raid, lakhs of cash and 7 cars seized

    Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. Police has taken a big action against gambling late last night. Police raided a gambling den in Kori Dam of Kota area and caught 22 famous youths gambling. Councillors and district members are also among the accused. Police has recovered Rs 3.50 lakh cash, 7 cars and 22 mobiles from the accused. Action is being taken against the accused under the Gambling Act.

    Police had received information that people were gambling for lakhs of rupees by putting up gambling dens near Kori Dam in Kota. On this, SDOP Kota Nupur Upadhyay was immediately sent to the spot with adequate force along with police station in-charge Kota. On the arrival of the police force, it was seen that 4 gambling dens were set up by the gamblers, on seeing the police, the gamblers tried to run away but the police party surrounded and caught the gamblers. After which, a zero FIR was lodged by the police by bringing them to the boundary of the irrigation department building near the dam. 22 gamblers were caught gambling on the spot, when all the gambling dens were searched, a total of 3 lakh 49,215 rupees were recovered from the gamblers. Along with this, 7 cars and 22 mobiles have been seized.

The situation is so serious that the hospital ambulance has also drowned in the water and the doctors are treating the patients by staying in knee-deep water.

    Managing Director Bhim Singh Kanwar said that it is important for customers to know that in case of prepaid meters, if the consumer fails to recharge his prepaid account and his remaining balance becomes zero, then the electricity connection will be disconnected between 10 am to 2 pm on the next day except holidays.

    Managing Director of the electricity company Bhim Singh Kanwar said that in the notification issued by the Electricity Regulatory Commission, it has been clarified when and how the electricity connection will be cut in case the prepaid meter is not recharged. If the prepaid meter is not recharged and its balance is zero, then the connection will not be cut during non-office hours from 5:30 pm to 10 am the next day or on holidays.

    To avoid inconvenience to consumers, the process of disconnection will be done on the next working day between 10 am to 2 pm. The special thing is that disconnection of electricity connection due to zero balance will be considered as temporary disconnection.
