  • CM Sai made an announcement, Daal-Bhat centers will be opened in all districts, children of labourers will get free education

    Raipur. On the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has announced to open Daal Bhaat Centres in all districts under the Annapurna Yojana, where food will be available for Rs 5. The CM also said that free education will be provided to the children of labourers through the Atal Utkrisht Yojana.

    The Chief Minister has also launched the complaint redressal online system app, Shramev Jayate website. Through this app, workers will be able to complain about their problems. Workers can also seek help by calling 87713505050. If the complaint is not resolved, the higher officials will automatically reach.

    On this occasion, CM Sai distributed an amount of 49.53 crores through online DBT to 57 thousand workers under 30 schemes. In the program, cheques were symbolically given to the workers. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that wherever the workers go in the country, their PF will be useful.

  • Effect of Chief Minister Sai’s instructions: Rapid action against drug dealers, Durg and Mahasamund police seized ganja worth Rs 50 lakh

    Mahasamund/Durg. On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Chhattisgarh Police has busted inter-state ganja smuggling. Durg Police has arrested 5 accused with 45 kg ganja. Mahasamund Police has arrested two inter-state smugglers with ganja worth Rs 45 lakh. While conducting financial investigation of ganja smuggling, the bank accounts of the accused are being put on hold. This action has been taken with the help of national agency Narcotics Control Bureau and state level special team. The team is investigating the matter.

    In Mahasamund, two smugglers have been caught with 3 quintals of ganja from a truck, which is worth Rs 45 lakh. To dodge the police, the smugglers were carrying ganja hidden under rice sacks. Based on the information of the informer, the cyber cell and Komakhan police took joint action.

    Ganja was hidden under the sacks of rice

    Information was received from an informer that 02 persons were going to take ganja from Odisha to Bihar via Mahasamund by keeping it in a catechu coloured truck. On the above information, the police team was checking suspicious vehicles by deploying force at all the points entering Mahasamund district, when 01 Eicher truck number MH 40 CT 3815 was coming towards Mahasamund from Khariyar Road Odisha. It was stopped by cordoning it off near NH 353 Road Temrinaka, Komakhan. 02 persons were found in the vehicle, on asking their name and address, they said that they were Anil Kumar father Ramkumar Singh, age Bahadurpur Bihar and Siddhan Kumar alias Mistri Yadav father Dinesh Yadav, Sikriyan, district Bhojpur Bihar. On searching the vehicle, a total of 300 kg ganja was found in 150 packets inside 10 plastic bags between sacks of Kanki rice. The ganja was seized and the accused were sent to jail. On interrogation, the accused said that they had brought the ganja from Odisha and were taking it to Bihar and Maharashtra to sell it.

    Under the direction of Durg IG Ram Gopal Garg, Durg SP Jitendra Shukla has taken action against ganja smuggling. On September 5, at 14.20, information was received from an informer that Pintu Kumar Sahni has brought ganja from Odisha to earn illegal money and has kept it in Khursipar. Pintu is short in height and is wearing a blue lower and brown t-shirt and is guarding the ganja. G. Sarojini is also with him. Based on this information, the police raided Balaji Nagar Khursipar near Ganesh temple and caught two people with ganja.

    Two cars and bikes seized along with ganja in Durg

    During interrogation, the accused revealed their names as G. Sarojini and Pintu Kumar Sahni. 8 kg 525 grams and 9 kg 80 grams, 8 kg 530 grams and 6 kg 010 grams of ganja were recovered from G. Sarojini’s house from paper packets and 3 mobile phones and 5 kg 830 grams of ganja kept in a plastic bag and a bike were seized from Pintu Kumar Sahni. During interrogation, Pintu Kumar Sahni told that he buys ganja from someone in Odisha. He pays Rs 6 lakh for one trip. Abby Sahni and Ajay Sahni used to drive from Odisha in car number CG 04 KP 4604 by changing various number plates. In this operation, a total of 45.145 kg ganja, two cars and a bike were seized, the total cost of which is Rs 17.5 lakh. The accused are being arrested and presented in the court. Let us tell you that for the first time in Durg district, the accused were arrested by establishing the “forward link” and “backward link” of ganja. NDPS cases have been registered against the accused in the past as well. One case is registered against Pintu Sahni and two cases are registered against G. Sarojini.

  • CG BREAKING: Chhattisgarh government handed over the Mahadev Satta App case to CBI, Home Minister Vijay Sharma said – accused will be brought to India from abroad also

    Raipur. The Chhattisgarh government has handed over the Mahadev Satta App case to the CBI. A total of 70 cases have been registered regarding the Mahadev Satta App. All these cases have been handed over to the CBI. Its notification has been issued. Deputy CM and Home Minister Vijay Sharma has given this information.

    Home Minister Vijay Sharma said, 70 cases were registered in connection with the Mahadev app. There was also a case in EOW. This is a matter of more than one state. There is information that some of the main accused are also abroad. Considering all the issues, the entire case has been handed over to the CBI. Now the CBI will investigate it seriously and strict action will be taken on it. People who are abroad will also be brought to India. Let us tell you that so far ED has arrested 11 people in this case.

    ED has been investigating the money laundering case related to Mahadev App for about 16 months. During the Congress government in the state, ED had alleged that high-ranking politicians and bureaucrats were among those protecting the syndicate. According to ED, the estimated income in this case was around Rs 6,000 crore. Apart from ED, EOW, SEBI is also investigating the Mahadev App case. ED’s chargesheet has revealed that Mahadev Satta App promoters Saurabh Chandrakar, Ravi Uppal and Shubham Soni have invested more than Rs 1000 crore in the stock market to whiten the black money of betting. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is investigating this.

    Till now ED has arrested 11 people

    The ED has so far filed three prosecution complaints (charge sheets) in the Raipur court in the money laundering case related to the Mahadev app. The ED has also conducted several raids in the state in this case earlier. The ED has also said earlier that its investigation into the Mahadev online gaming and betting app has revealed the involvement of many high-ranking politicians and bureaucrats of Chhattisgarh. The two main promoters of the app, Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, come from Chhattisgarh. A total of 11 people have been arrested by the ED in this case so far.

    Raipur. The police has arrested the accused from Rajasthan for creating a fake Facebook ID by misusing the name and photo of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. On the complaint of the applicant Manoj Kumar Sahu, the police had registered a case in Civil Lines police station.

    Taking the matter seriously, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh directed the cyber unit and police officers to trace the unknown accused and arrest him soon. A police team was formed and started investigating the matter and after technical analysis of the fake ID, they succeeded in identifying the unknown accused. The unknown accused was located in Alwar, Rajasthan.

    A special team was formed under the direction of senior officers and the team was sent to Alwar in Rajasthan. While tracking the accused, accused Sahukaar Khan, resident of Kotakhurd, Rajasthan was arrested. On the basis of the evidence obtained, after strict interrogation, the accused confessed to committing the above incident. Accused Sahukaar Khan was arrested and the mobile phone used in the incident was seized from his possession.
