  • Trump, Along With Elon Musk, Addresses Thousands Where He Was Shot At In Failed Assassination Bid | world news

Former US president Donald Trump on Saturday returned to Butler, a city in Pennsylvania where he narrowly escaped an assassination bid 12 weeks ago, and addressed thousands of his supporters in this key battleground state, urging them to elect him as the next president of the United States. States.

Joined by high-profile figures like Tesla owner Elon Musk and his running mate, Senator JD Vance, Trump (78) made a passionate plea to “defeat” Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate in the November 5 presidential poll.

“We must stop her country-destroying regime, radical-left agenda once and for all. We cannot have it happen. So you must get out and you must vote,” Trump said in Pennsylvania, which in this election cycle has emerged as a must-win situation for both candidates.

Trump launched a scathing attack on Harris and accused her of being a failure on multiple fronts, including border security and the economy. “She imposed a natural gas export ban on Pennsylvania, which is killing your energy workers and your pricing,” he said.

“Kamala Harris is a radical-left Marxist. She is a woman that is not respected in Congress. She was laughed at Congress. Nobody thought she could win. They did a coup of Biden. Whether you like him or not, I am not A particularly big fan, and all of a sudden, they say, you are not going to win the election. don’t want to get out’,” Trump said.

“He (Biden) got 14 million (1.4 crore) votes. If you believe in democracy or a system, he got 14 million votes. And she (Harris) got none. She was the first one out, 22 candidates, and she never She quit before Iowa, and that is okay, we spent USD 150 million beating Biden, they said. let us take him out. We will give somebody else to run.

“She is a person that rated even worse in every statistic than any other senator. She was rated at the bottom of the US Senate. She has destroyed everything she touched,” Trump said.

The former president said if elected, on the first day of his presidency, he would seal the border and stop the migrant invasion into the country. “We will begin the largest deportation operation in the history of the United States,” he said, adding that 2024 is the most important election in the history of the country.

“Here are the facts. My opponent, Kamala Harris, is the most incompetent and far-left nominee ever to run for president. She is much further left than crazy Bernie Sanders. She wants to open the borders. She took the most secure border in US history and turned it into the worst border in the history of the world…. She let in 21 million (2.1 crore) illegal aliens from all over the world, from prisons and jails and mental institutions and insane asylums. are terrorists at record levels, at levels we have never seen before,” he alleged.

In his brief speech, Musk said this is a must-win situation for the country.

“President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America. This is a must-win situation. So I have one ask for everyone in the audience, everyone who watches this video, everyone in the livestream. This One request is very important. And everyone you do not know, drag them to vote. If they do not, this will be the last. “That’s my prediction,” he said.

Musk said the true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. “We had one president who could not climb a flight of stairs. Another who was fist pumping after getting shot. Fight, fight, fight. Blood coming down the face. America is the home of the brave. There is no truer test than courage. under fire. So who do you want representing America?” he asked the audience.

“This election, I think it is the most important election of our lifetime. This is no ordinary election. The other side wants to take away your freedom of speech. They want to take away your right to bear arms. They want to take away your right to vote now. California, where I used to live, I still cannot believe that is real. have a proper election if there is no ID?” he asked.

Vance said Trump took a bullet for democracy.

“A Democrat senator called Donald Trump an existential threat to our democracy. Kamala Harris said he was attacking the foundations of our democracy. I think you all will join me in saying to Kamala Harris, how dare you talk about threats to democracy? Donald Trump Took a bullet for democracy. What the hell have you done?” Vance said.

“The truth is that Kamala Harris and her allies, they attack Donald Trump in order to silence us, we the people. They have declared war explicitly on the First Amendment to the US Constitution. Kamala Harris proudly says she wants to censor the internet. But we all know that censorship is only the first step. First, they tried to bankrupt him. tried to jail him,” he said.

“With all the hatred they have spewed at President Trump, it was only a matter of time before somebody tried to kill him,” Vance said.

  • US Vice Presidential Debate: Vance Refuses To Say Trump Lost 2020 Election | world news

NEW YORK: Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance has refused to acknowledge that Donald Trump lost the 2020 elections, as he evaded a direct reply on whether the former president would seek to challenge this year’s election results even if these were certified in every state. Senator Vance of Ohio came face to face with his Democratic rival Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on Tuesday in the only vice presidential debate of this election cycle. The debate comes just over a month before the crucial US presidential elections when the country will choose between Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Trump as the next leader.

In reference to the January 6, 2021 insurrection, Vance did not give a clear answer when asked if Trump would again challenge election results this year even if every governor certifies the results. “Look, what President Trump has said is that there were problems in 2020, and my own belief is that we should fight about those issues, debate those issues peacefully in the public square. And that’s all I’ve said, and that’s all that Donald Trump has said,” Vance said.

He added that Trump asked the protesters on January 6 to “protest peacefully”, and the former president “left the White House” on January 20 when Joe Biden became president. “…Now, of course, unfortunately, we have all of the negative policies that have come from the Harris-Biden administration,” he said.

Trump has denied wrongdoing regarding the attack on the US Capitol in January 2021 in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election won by Biden, a Democrat. The Republican presidential candidate has repeatedly claimed that he won the 2020 elections. During the debate, the Democratic vice presidential candidate Walz also questioned Vance about Trump losing the 2020 election, NBC News reported. “Did he (Trump) lose the 2020 election?” Walz asked.

“Tim, I’m focused on the future,” Vance was quoted as saying in the report. Calling it a “non-answer”, Walz said, “I’m pretty shocked by this. He lost the election. This is not a debate, it’s not anything anywhere other than in Donald Trump’s world.” In the debate hosted by CBS News here, the two vice presidential candidates also sparred over issues ranging from immigration, gun policy, climate change, abortion and the economy.

Calling censorship a “threat” to democracy in the US, Vance alleged that Harris has engaged in it at an “industrial scale”. “She did it during Covid. She’s done it over a number of other issues, and that, to me, is a much bigger threat to democracy than what Donald Trump said when he said the protesters should peacefully protest on January the sixth,” he said.

On immigration, Walz referred to false claims by Vance about Haitian immigrants eating the pets of residents in Springfield, Ohio. “There are consequences for this,” Walz said. To this, Vance replied, “The people I care most about in Springfield are the American citizens.” Vance added that because of an influx of migrants, “you’ve got schools that are overwhelmed, you’ve got hospitals that are overwhelmed, you’ve got housing that is totally unaffordable.”

On the issue of abortion, Walz was asked by the moderators to respond to an assertion from Trump that he supports abortion in the ninth month. “In Minnesota, what we did was restore Roe v. Wade,” Walz said. “We made sure that we put women in charge of their health care.” “The states will decide what’s right for Texas might not be right for Washington. That’s not how this works,” Walz was quoted as saying by CNN.

“This is basic human rights. We have seen maternal mortality skyrocket in Texas (since its restrictions went into effect), outpacing many accounts in the world,” he added. Meanwhile, Vance said Republicans need to “do so much better of a job at earning the American people’s trust back on this issue, where they, frankly, just don’t trust us.”

  • US Says Iranian Hackers Sent Stolen Trump Campaign Information To Biden’s Campaign | world news

Iranian hackers shared unsolicited information they had stolen from former US President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign with people who were associated with US President Joe Biden’s campaign over the summer, CNN reported, citing federal law enforcement officials.

In a joint statement, the office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency announced that Iranian malicious cyber actors in late June and early July “sent unsolicited emails to individuals then associated with President Biden’s campaign that contained an excerpt taken from stolen, non-public material from former President Trump’s campaign as text in the emails,” according to a CNN report.

According to the statement, there is no indication that Biden’s staff ever responded. In the statement, the law enforcement said that the hackers’ efforts to send information to US media outlets has continued.

The statement said that the hack is one of the various efforts made by the Iranian government trying to “stoke discord and undermine confidence in our electoral process,” CNN reported. Previously, law enforcement officials have said that those efforts also comprised an unsuccessful attempt to hack the Biden-Harris campaign.

Iranian government-backed hackers stole Trump campaign documents and shared them with news organizations, CNN had reported. Beginning on July 22, Politico had reported that it had received emails that mentioned internal communication from a senior Trump campaign official and a research dossier the campaign had put together on Trump’s running mate and Ohio Senator, JD Vance.

Later, The New York Times and The Washington Post had also reported that they had received similar information, including a 271-page document on Vance dated February 23 and labeled “privileged & confidential,” that the outlets said was based on information available in public. , the report said.

The Iranian hackers did breach the email account of Trump’s long time ally Roger Stone to target campaign staff in June, according to CNN report. US officials believe the Iranian hackers work for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGS).

Investigators believe the suspected Iranian hackers breached Roger Stone’s account. The hackers then used Stone’s email account to try to break into the account of a senior Trump campaign official as part of their efforts to access campaign networks.

Elections in the US are set to be held on November 5. Donald Trump is the Republican presidential nominee, while US Vice President Kamala Harris is the Democratic nominee. Earlier in July, Biden withdrew from the presidential race and endorsed Harris as the Democratic candidate for presidential elections.

  • Trump Says Biden, Harris’ ‘Inflammatory Rhetoric’ Led To Assassination Attempt, Calls Them A Threat | world news

Launching a fiery attack against Democrats, former US President Donald Trump has said that President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris’ “rhetoric” is responsible for the second assassination attempt against him since July, media reported. Trump said on Monday that the suspected gunman “acted” on the “highly inflammatory language” of Democrats, CNN reported.

The Republican nominee’s sharp remarks came a day after he escaped an attack at International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. During an interview with Fox News, the former President said that the suspect “believed the rhetoric of Biden and Harris, and he acted on it”. Trump added, “Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country, and they are the ones that are destroying the country — both from the inside and out.”

The former President pointed to comments made by Biden and Harris that Trump is a threat to democracy, according to Fox News Digital, and said, “These are people that want to destroy our country.” He said that Biden and Harris, “They are the real threat.” “They use highly inflammatory language,” Trump said. “I can use it too — far better than they can — but I don’t,” he added.

Harris, her running mate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, and Biden all quickly expressed relief that a person suspected of planning to target Trump at one of his Florida golf courses was spotted before he could get off a shot and that the former President was safe. Harris said she was briefed on the incident and wrote on social media: “I am glad he is safe. Violence has no place in America.”

Biden and Harris have both argued Trump presents a clear threat to US democracy. When Biden began his 2024 campaign which he has since suspended, he pointed to the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the US Capitol that Trump incited and argued Trump was “willing to sacrifice our democracy, put himself in power”. Harris has argued Trump is a “threat to our democracy and fundamental freedoms”.

The suspected gunman, Ryan Wesley Routh, possessed an AK-47-style rifle pointing through the chain-link fence out toward the green, a go-pro camera, and two backpacks. Routh escaped from the spot but was pulled over and arrested on I-95, according to Fox News report.

Following the shooting incident near his Florida Golf Course on Sunday, former US President Trump said that he is absolutely “safe and well”. He was playing golf at West Palm Beach’s Trump International Golf Club.

In a fundraising email, Trump wrote, “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!” “Nothing will slow me down. I will NEVER SURRENDER! I will always love you for supporting me,” he said in the email.

Trump is “safe following gunshots in his vicinity,” the Trump Campaign said in a statement on Sunday, according to CNN. Soon after the incident took place, Trump ally Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina spoke with him, and said that he is in “good spirits”.

The second assassination attempt against Trump came after he was shot in the ear at a rally in Pennsylvania by a gunman who killed one person and injured others before being shot by police on July 13.

  • Trump Assassination Attempt: 10 Key Details About Florida Golf Club Incident | world news

Trump Assassination Attempt: This was the second apparent assassination attempt on US former President Donald Trump within two months, the first one at the election rally in Pennsylvania and the second in Florida Golf Club on Sunday afternoon. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was on a golf course when the US Secret Service detected an unusual presence nearby. The FBI has described the incident as an “attempted assassination.”

The law enforcement officials have arrested a 58-year-old suspect identified as Ryan Wesley Routh. He was allegedly seen behind the bushes, mere 400 to 500 yards away from Trump. When the Secret Service official shot in that direction, he dropped the weapon a high-powered AK-47 style rifle and fled the scene.

Routh entered a black-colored SUV and drove off only to be arrested later in a neighboring county. According to the police, the suspect had two black backpacks hanging on the fence and a GoPro camera.

Martin County Sheriff William Snyder reported that the man, after being apprehended, remained remarkably ‘calm’ and showed minimal emotion. “He never inquired, ‘What is this about?’ Despite the presence of law enforcement with long rifles, blue lights, and considerable activity, he did not question the situation,” Snyder stated.

In 2002, Routh was found guilty of having a weapon of mass destruction, according to online records from the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction. The records don’t explain the case further, but a 2002 News & Record article mentions a man with the same name who was arrested after a three-hour standoff with police.

Undeterred by the two consecutive near misses, Donald Trump said, “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL”.

“Nothing will slow me down. I will NEVER SURRENDER,” he informed his supporters via email and then returned to his residence at Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Palm Beach.

Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were briefed on the incident. The White House stated they were “relieved” to learn that Trump is safe. Harris, who is running against Trump in the presidential polls, commented in a statement that “violence has no place in America.”

The suspect was apprehended following a “be on the lookout” alert issued by the FBI, Secret Service, and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff William Snyder reported that his deputies “immediately flooded” northbound I-95, covering every exit from the Palm Beach County line to the south and the St. Lucie County line to the north. “One of my road patrol units saw the vehicle, matched the tag, and we set up on the vehicle,” Snyder said. “We pinched in on the car, got it safely stopped, and took the driver into custody.”

On July 13, Donald Trump was shot during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, with a bullet grazing his ear. Eight days later, President Joe Biden withdrew from the race, clearing the path for Vice President Kamala Harris to become the Democratic nominee.

Since the assassination attempt in July, Donald Trump’s security measures have been significantly increased. When he is at Trump Tower in New York, dump trucks are strategically parked to form a barrier outside the building. At outdoor rallies, he now addresses the crowd from behind bulletproof glass.

I will be glad when you gone,” he posted in November 2020.

  • ‘Right Now, I’m Leading’: Donald Trump On Another Debate With Kamala Harris | world news

Former US President Donald Trump suggested on Friday that he would consider holding a second debate with Vice President Kamala Harris if he got in the right mood, CNN reported.

He further added that his mind might change regarding the presidential debate with Harris, however, nothing can be said now.

“I did great with the debates, and I think they’ve answered everything. But maybe if I got in the right mood, I don’t know,” Trump said.

“Right now, I’m leading,” he affirmed.

On being asked by the media what exactly he would need or want in order to participate in another debate with Harris, Trump responded by saying, “I wouldn’t need anything. I could do it tomorrow, but I’ve done two debates, ” as he referred to his previous debate with US President Joe Biden.

The possibility of a second meeting between the two US Presidential candidates before election day was dashed on Thursday when former President Donald Trump announced he would not take part in another debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

He asserted that he won Tuesday’s debate with Harris despite some polls showing otherwise.

“When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, ‘I WANT A REMATCH’. Polls clearly show that I won the debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

The former president claimed that subjects like immigration and inflation were covered “in great detail” both in Tuesday night’s discussion with Harris and in his June debate with President Biden.

Trump, in a strong attack on the Biden-Harris administration, said that they have ‘destroyed’ the country.

“She and Crooked Joe have destroyed our country, with millions of criminals and mentally deranged people pouring into the USA, totally unchecked and unvetted, and with inflation bankrupting our middle class.

Everyone knows this and all of the other problems caused by Kamala and Joe. It was discussed in great detail during the first debate with Joe, and the second debate with Comrade Harris,” the former US President said.

“She was a no-show at the Fox debate and refused to do NBC & CBS,” Trump said in his post, adding “KAMALA SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE DURING THE LAST ALMOST FOUR YEAR PERIOD. THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!”

Both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are the official presidential candidates of their respective parties, after they accepted the nomination at the conventions earlier this year. The US presidential elections are scheduled to be held on November 5 this year.

Notably, the first presidential debate was held in June between President Biden and Trump, where the former’s performance expressed concerns over his age. Following this, Biden made an exit from the race and endorsed Harris.

It is pertinent to note that Trump and Harris debated on Tuesday this week. It was their first meeting since Harris became the Democratic presidential nominee in late July, The Hill reported.

The ultimate face off between Trump and Harris took place during the presidential debate conducted by ABC News.
