  • Within 7 months of the formation of the government, electricity reached 4 tribal Kamar tribe villages of Gariaband district, wave of happiness among the villagers

    Gariaband. The joy of getting electricity can be felt only by reaching among the villagers of tribal Kamar dominated village Bhiralat. It took 75 years for electricity to reach Bhiralat village, a dependent village of Gram Panchayat Joba, located on the side of National Highway Mainpur Gariaband main road, just 15 km away from Gariaband district headquarters, and now when electricity has reached the village, a wave of happiness is being seen among the villagers. The villagers have expressed their happiness by thanking Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai for this and have also invited Chief Minister Sai to visit their village.

    Villagers have been struggling for years to get electricity in dozens of villages of Gariaband district. In such a situation, the important scheme of the state government which is being run for the special backward tribes. Under the PM Janman Yojana, electricity was provided to Chhindola, Luthapara of Mainpur development block three months ago. On the other hand, in the Kamar dominated Para Bhiralat located on the National Highway Mainpur Gariaband road, in which about 15 to 18 Kamar tribe families live, the villagers here were tired of demanding electricity many times. Now the government has illuminated this village with electricity.

    After the activeness and constant guidance of Gariaband District Collector Deepak Agarwal, with the special efforts of Executive Engineer of Electricity Department Gariaband, Atul Tiwari, a survey was conducted in village Bhiralat a month ago under PM Janman Yojana and a new electricity transformer was installed in the village and electricity connection has been given to 15 houses of the special backward tribe Kamar villagers of this village.

    A week ago, a trial was conducted by installing an electricity connection here. After this, it was officially started. There is a wave of happiness among the villagers due to the arrival of electricity in the village amidst the rainy season. The villagers have expressed their gratitude to PM Modi and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai for this.

    There is always a danger of wild animals in the village situated in the middle of the forest

    Para Bhiralat, a village dependent on Gram Panchayat Joba, is situated on the side of the National Highway but this village is surrounded by dense forest on all sides. Due to this, especially during the rainy season, there is a danger of poisonous creatures and violent wild animals here. On the other hand, solar energy used to provide light for only one and a half hours. The villagers had to spend the whole night in darkness. The children of this village have also got rid of the lantern as they have got electricity for studies.
