This second generation MacBook can be purchased for less than Rs 90,000 in Flipkart’s upcoming Big Billion Days sale. This sale is to start from October 8. Earlier, the price of MacBook Air M2 variant with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage was Rs 94,990 on Flipkart. This is much less than its retail price. You can get a discount of Rs 5,000 if you buy it through Axis Bank credit card or HDFC Bank transaction, which will reduce the price of MacBook Air M2 to Rs 89,990. This price includes card offers on Flipkart. However, these discounts may change depending on the availability of units before the sale. Exchange discount of up to Rs 20,000 can also be available on this. Last year the second generation MacBook Air M2 was launched. Apple has given M2 chip in it. The company had said that the new chip is 18 percent faster in CPU performance and 35 percent faster in GPU performance. This 13-inch display laptop has a Liquid Retina display with thinner bezels than the previous model. It has various RAM and storage options available with up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of storage. Apple claims that the battery backup of MacBook Air M2 is up to 18 hours on a single charge.     The country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki has offered huge discounts on its cars sold through Arena dealerships in September. A discount of up to Rs 60,000 is being given on eight models of the company. Recently, Maruti’s Arena dealerships had crossed the sales of 70 lakh cars. The benefits offered by the company include cash discount, corporate discount and exchange bonus. A cash discount of Rs 35,000 and exchange bonus of up to Rs 20,000 can be availed on WagonR, one of Maruti’s best-selling cars. Along with this, a corporate discount of Rs 4,000 is being given by the company. Its CNG variant is getting a discount of Rs 54,000 including a cash discount of Rs 30,000. On purchasing Maruti Swift hatchback, you are getting cash benefit of Rs 35,000 and exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. Apart from this, corporate discount of Rs 5,000 can also be availed. Benefits of up to Rs 54,000 are available on the company’s small car Alto K10. These especially include a cash discount of Rs 35,000, exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 4,000 on its petrol manual variant. A cash discount of Rs 20,000 is available on its petrol automatic and CNG variants. Maruti’s other models like Celerio, Dzire, Ertiga and Eeco are being given discounts ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 59,000. Recently, Maruti had said that it expects the sales of passenger vehicles to be more than 10 lakh units in this festive season. Shashank Srivastava, senior executive officer of the company, had said that usually the festive season generates 22-26 percent of the total sales in a year. He had told, “The total sales of passenger vehicles in this financial year are estimated to be around 40 lakh units. Sales in the festive season may be around 10 lakh units.” Sales in the automobile industry have been strong this year and are expected to continue in the coming months. Maruti has about 43 percent share in the passenger vehicles segment.
