This story is of Narayan, a resident of Karitgaon, located about 10 kilometers away from Jagdalpur city.

For the happiness, peace and prosperity of the house, Narayan has set a target of writing and chanting the name of Ram 1 crore times. Till now he has written 67 lakh 75 thousand names of Ram and is continuously working on writing. Narayan told that his best friend encouraged him to write the name of Shri Ram. After this he reached Jagdalpur city and took a copy pen and started writing from 9.30 am on 7 January 2011.

He told that he is feeling a lot of peace inside by writing the name and after starting writing, he has also got a son. They consider this as their fruit. He said that as soon as his target of Rs 1 crore is achieved. After that they will prepare to go to Ayodhya. On the occasion of the inauguration of Ram temple to be held in Ayodhya on January 22, light a lamp at home and take blessings from him. Narayan said that Ram’s name is chanted from birth till death and even after death, Ram’s name remains with him, hence he is doing the work of writing.

In such a situation, village Turturia of Kasdol development block in Balodabazar district cannot be forgotten, where the penance of Mother Sita, the birth and upbringing of Luv-Kush are said to have taken place in the ashram of Maharishi Valmiki. Surrounded by natural beauty, at a distance of 50 km from Balodabazar district headquarters and 25 km from Kasdol, it got the name Turturia because of the gurgling sound of Balmadehi river and the gurgling sound of the stream of water falling from the mountain. There is a temple of Mataji on the hill above, where devotees come with the wish of having a child and receive blessings from the mother. It is said that Sita Maa gave birth to Luv-Kush here, due to which the mother definitely fulfills the wishes of the devotees who come here with the wish of having a child.

The Turturiya temple situated amidst dense forests was renovated in 1972-73 by Dau Chinta Ram Tikariha, known as a wrestler from the Tikariha family of village Budgahan of Balodabazar. Earlier, child celibate Hanuman and Devi devotee Babaji Maharaj used to worship this temple. After his stay in heaven, the temple is being looked after by Pandit Ram Balak Das.

Temple priest Ram Balak Das told that hundreds of people come here every day and seek the blessings of Mataji. It is known as Valmiki Ashram, and Luv-Kush is said to have been born here. Mother Sita did penance here. Today it feels very good that Ramlala is being established in Ayodhya, while Turturiya is also being renovated.

Hemant Tikriha, a descendant of Chinta Ram Tikriha, the restorer of the temple, told that grandfather used to talk about this place often, and also looked after the entire arrangement here. Baba ji was a proven man, who was an ardent devotee of Mataji and Hanuman ji. We have also received his blessings. Today, wherever Lord Ram’s feet have fallen in Chhattisgarh, the government is getting them constructed through ‘Ram Van Path Gaman’.

It is a matter of pride for us that after 500 years, the idol of the child-like form of Lord Ram is going to be installed in Ayodhya, and its importance has increased even more due to the birth of his sons in Chhattisgarh and the maternal home of his mother Kaushalya. It is said that Lord Ram also spent time on Mahendragiri mountain during his exile. Chhattisgarh government has included this area in Ramvangaman path. Today, when Shri Ram is being re-established in Ayodhya, the Shringi Rishi mountain of Dhamtari has again become relevant.

Gram Panchayat Sihawa is situated at the foot of Mahendragiri mountain and on the banks of Mahanadi in Dhamtari district, about 160 kilometers south of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. As soon as you reach Sihawa, the temple on the high mountain and the flag waving on it can be seen from below. Here on the top of the mountain is the ashram of Shringi Rishi. It is also colloquially called Shringi Rishi Parvat.

Earlier it used to be deserted. But today there are arrangements for temples, pavilions, stairs, electricity and water. This has been done with the help of people’s donations and Panchayat. When we reached here after climbing about four hundred and fifty stairs, preparations for the Yagya were going on here too. People were busy in making pavilion, flag, kalash, rangoli, all the arrangements.

Rishi was installed on 21 January

It is considered to be a happy coincidence that in 2017, the local Vedacharyas and priests had installed Shringi Rishi on 21st January, and in the year 2024, Ramlala is being installed in Ayodhya on 22nd January. However, many ancient broken statues have also been preserved in this ashram, about which no one knows what they are. Which is part of the construction, but has been kept safe.

There is a statue of Shringi Rishi doing penance under the rock in the ashram. Devotees come here and worship. The management and maintenance of this ashram is done by the village priest and local Vedacharya, who gets full help from the common people.

Shringi Rishi Parvat becomes relevant again

Today Shringi Rishi mountain of Sihawa has become relevant again. It is being discussed everywhere. And people have started coming to see it also. Actually, Lord Shri Ram ji had a direct relation with Shringi Rishi. It has been mentioned in the Bal Kand of Ramcharit Manas. That when King Dashrath was worried about not getting a son as his successor. At such a time, Maharishi Vashishtha advised him to take refuge in Sage Shringi.

In that era, it is said that only Shringi Rishi had proved the Putrayeshthi Mantra through his penance. As per the advice of Maharishi Vashishtha, King Dasharatha came to Mahendra Giri mountain of Sihawa and went to the shelter of Shringi Rishi and requested him to perform Putrayeshthi Yagya. It is said that Sage Shringi went to Ayodhya with King Dasharatha, performed a yagya there, and fed the kheer obtained from it to the three queens of King Dasharatha, only after which Lord Rama, Bharat, Lakshman and Shatrughan were born.

The sage was born from the womb of a deer

According to religious texts, Sage Shringi was born from the womb of a deer. He had a horn on his forehead. And because of the horns, he was named Shringi Rishi. It is said that Shringi Rishi was the son of Maharishi Vibhandak and grandson of Rishi Kashyap. There is an incident in the stories that Vibhandak was a great ascetic, who lived on Mahendragiri mountain. Besides, he had a very attractive physique.

The angels of heaven were fascinated by him. Once when Rishi Vibhandak was doing penance, an Apsara took the form of a deer and went near him. And at the same time the semen of Rishi Vibhandak was ejaculated, and got mixed in the nearby water pond. The deer drank this water and became pregnant. Shringi Rishi was born from the womb of this deer. It is also said that Shringi Rishi was always born on Mahendragiri mountain and remained there only. Did penance here. He had never seen any woman.

Daughter Shanta given as best Dakshina

There is also a small temple of Mata Shanta on Shringi Rishi mountain of Sihawa. Mother Shanta was the eldest child of King Dasharatha. That is, she was the elder sister of Lord Ram, who was adopted by Mother Kaushalya’s sister. King Dasharatha, after the Putrayeshthi Yagya, had given Shringi Rishi as the best Dakshina to his daughter Shanta, and for this reason a temple of Mata Shanta has also been built near Shringi Rishi Ashram.

It is also believed that even today, childless couples get a child after worshiping and performing yagya in the ashram of Shringi Rishi. The origin of Mahanadi, the life-giving river of Chhattisgarh, is also believed to be from Shringi Rishi mountain. There is a small pond on the mountain, which never dries up. It is also said that during his exile, Lord Rama stayed around Mahendragiri mountain for a long time. Chhattisgarh government has included this area in Ram Van Gaman Path.

Nitin Namdev, Raipur. The enlightenment program of the sixth assembly of Chhattisgarh is going to start from today. The program will start from 11 am. Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uike participated in the 71st Plenary Meeting of the North Eastern Council (NEC) at the State Convention Centre, Shillong, Meghalaya today. The meeting was presided over by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Union DoNER Minister G Kishan Reddy, Minister of State DoNER, BL Verma, Governors and Chief Ministers of North Eastern States and senior officials were present in the meeting. During the dialogue session, Anusuiya Uike extended her warm greetings to Union Home Minister and Chairman of North-East Council, Amit Shah and expressed her gratitude to the Central Government for its continuous support and guidance in the socio-economic development of the North.

The Governor said that many people are currently living in relief camps and they need to be sent to their homes. He stressed the need to provide immediate relief amount/interim relief amount to those people whose properties have been damaged. Uike suggested to provide self-employment and housing to the victims on priority. He also said that to increase trade and business, highways have to be secured. He said that tea gardens can be developed in the state as an alternative to poppy cultivation, as this will provide alternative business to the poppy cultivators.

For the North-Eastern states, the Governor suggested that the amount of development work for the implementation of government schemes creates a situation of paying salaries to the employees, to end this he said that to avoid this, a lump sum amount should be given to the state as a grant. Should be given, so that it can be used for salary payment as per requirement. Manipur is called the powerhouse of sports in the country. Governor Anusuiya urged that training, encouragement and sports facilities should be increased for the players, as the state has innate sports talent.

The Governor said that Manipur is a naturally and environmentally rich state and hence tourism can be promoted there. Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. A case of fraud by farmers has come to light in the district. Where Patwari, in collusion with the accused, registered the land fraudulently and took a loan of Rs 22 lakh from the bank by forging the Net ID. After complaining about the matter and registering a report, the police have arrested an accused. The search for other absconding accused in the case is ongoing.

Applicant Nammu Lal Patel, resident of Devrani village, Birra police station, filed a report on January 17, 2024 that he has a farm of 2.5 acres of land. The accused, Parmanand Karsh, resident of Pavani Bilaigarh and his associates, in connivance with the then Halka Patwari, got the land registered in a fraudulent manner. Not only this, by converting 2.5 acres of land into about 12 acres of land in Net ID, he prepared fake documents by forging B-1 and other documents and took a loan of Rs 22 lakh from HDFC Bank Rajim District Gariaband. In this case, the police have registered a crime under section 420,467,468,471 and started investigation.

Taking the case of fraud seriously, Birra police caught the accused Parmanand Karsh resident Pavani Bilaigarh district Sarangarh from his custody. He was taken into custody and interrogated in connection with the incident, in which he confessed to his crime. The police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail on judicial remand. The police is searching for other absconding accused in the case.

These allegations were made by none other than the present BJP government against the previous Congress government before the elections. But now there is BJP government in the state. But no formal investigation order has ever come before the media regarding the amount of this fraud and the investigation into such a big fraud has started. Let us tell you that regarding the disorganization in the Agriculture Department, former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh had also complained about the corruption prevalent in the department before the elections, but there was no mention of the amount in it.

Ravi Shankar Mishra, resident of Chudiline, Raipur, complained about this embezzlement of Rs 100 crore. In which he has claimed that the Horticulture Department has given grant in non-standard power weeder/power tiller from the National Horticulture Mission, National Agricultural Development Scheme and District Mineral Fund.

According to the complaint, the machines for which the test report has been given by the Agricultural Machinery Training Institute, Government of India, have been described as harmful for the health of the machine users and the farmers and in addition to the test machine being described as non-standard, it has also been described as having 4.9 HP. Whereas the name of the machine given by the department was KC-PWP-7HP.

The surprising thing is that the department whose job is to deposit subsidy on machines into the accounts of farmers, assembled the machines in its own office. In this complaint, a total supply of more than Rs 100 crore has been reported. However, the claim is that more amount will be released after investigation.

Company is blacklisted in Madhya Pradesh, FIR also registered

Departmental sources claim that M/s Kishan Agrotech Chikhli Durg was registered to provide the said machines to the farmers. Whereas this firm has committed a scam worth crores in Madhya Pradesh and an FIR has also been registered against the company’s director Jignesh Patel in Bhopal.
