After this, it keeps downloading harmful software on the user’s phone in the name of updates. The downloaded software affects many parts of the phone, including its battery life and performance. The report says that the advertisements that users receive in phones infected with the Guerrilla virus are often useless and can be classified as pornographic content. The virus has currently most affected smartphones in America, Mexico, Indonesia, Thailand and Russia.
