This is the 13th day of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. This war was started by Hamas terrorists, in retaliation to which Israel has started attacking Hamas fiercely. Amidst the deaths of thousands of people, there is still a government in Israel in which there is no opposition.
However, Likud Party is still in power in the country whose Prime Minister is Benjamin Netanyahu. But, after this deadly attack on the country, Benjamin Netanyahu has formed an alliance with opposition politicians to form an emergency unity government.
In such a situation, four leaders including opposition leader and former Defense Minister Benny Gantz have taken oath as ministers in the government. The main opposition leaders, former Prime Minister Yair Lapid and former Defense Minister Benny Gantz, had agreed in principle to join a unity government after Saturday’s surprise attack by the Islamist group Hamas.
But later Lapid did not join the government. Israeli lawmakers on Thursday backed an extended “emergency government” after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a wartime government with his opposition parties.
Netanyahu, dressed in black, told parliament before the vote that “the unity we are establishing sends a message of great strength.” He also vowed to destroy Hamas. Let us tell you that Gantz’s former aide, opposition leader Yair Lapid had said earlier on Thursday that he would not join the government.
More than 1,200 people in Israel and 1,350 in the blockaded Palestinian territory have been killed in the fighting between Israel and Gaza terrorists since Saturday.
Netanyahu and Gantz announced in a joint statement that they had agreed to join forces in time of fighting, and would also be joined by a three-member “war cabinet” that also includes Defense Minister Yoav Galant. Let us tell you that Netanyahu’s ultra-right and ultra-Orthodox Jewish allies remain in the government.
As part of his deal with Gantz, the prime minister has agreed to halt the hardline government’s divisive judicial reform, which sparked massive street protests – the largest in the country’s history.
“During the war, no bill or government-sponsored resolution unrelated to the war will be put forward,” the statement said. In such a situation, it can be clearly said that to deal with the war situation in Israel, a government has been formed in which the leaders of the opposition will also be ministers.
Now it will also be interesting to see whether this government is only for the war period or even after that something unexpected may happen. At present, in the war between Israel and Hamas, attacks are being carried out from both sides, in which news and pictures of the death of thousands of people are coming out.

First of all, we will destroy Hamas’s military and governing capabilities. This is the purpose of our air strikes. After this the ground attack will also start soon. In the second phase, soldiers will continue small operations. Under this, the intelligence spies of Hamas will be eliminated. In the third and final phase, a new security system will be implemented in Gaza. However, Israel will have no role in this. Attacks throughout the Gaza Strip have caused some Palestinians who had fled there to return to the north. After this order, the fear of ground action by Israel in the area has intensified. According to the news, after Israel’s order, people evacuated the northern part and started running towards the south. However, the United Nations has said that it is not easy to evacuate the entire area.

This assessment has been done on the basis of intelligence information, missile activity, satellite images, communication material and ‘open source information’. This information has been given by the White House.

Here, US President Joe Biden said after his visit to Israel that Israel has been suffering greatly but it needs to find opportunities to relieve the suffering of those people in Gaza. Biden spoke to the media while returning from Israel and said that Israel has been suffering greatly. Another spokesman, Jonathan Conricus, said the military would make “comprehensive efforts to avoid harming civilians” and that residents would be allowed to return when the war ends. Hamas terrorists operate in civilian areas, so Israel has long accused them of using Palestinians as human shields. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said in a press conference with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, “Common people are a shield for terrorists. In such a situation, we need to separate them. Therefore, those who want to save their lives, please move towards southern Gaza. Meanwhile, Gaza City resident Khalid Abu Sultan did not at first believe the evacuation order was genuine, and did not know whether he would be able to take his family to southern Gaza. “We don’t know if there are safe areas there or not,” he said. No. We don’t know anything.
Another family contacted friends and relatives in southern Gaza in search of shelter, but then changed their minds. Many worry that they will not be able to return or will be gradually displaced to Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. More than half of the Palestinians in Gaza are descendants of people who became refugees in the war that broke out during Israel’s establishment in 1948. Thousands of people fled or were expelled from Israel in that war. The United Nations said on Thursday that at least 423,000 people are already forced to become homeless due to Israeli air strikes. Hamas carried out such a huge attack right under the nose of Israel’s intelligence department, and the entire intelligence system remained silent. After the biggest attack on Israel in the century, questions are being raised on the intelligence system. Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad is recognized worldwide. Mossad is counted among the most dangerous intelligence departments in the world. It is known for its campaigns across the world. In such a situation, after such a major attack on Israel, it is natural to raise questions on Mossad. And questions are also being raised as to where Mossad went wrong. Why was Mossad not aware of such a big attack? Experts say that the attack carried out on Saturday morning by the extremist group Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip in the southern parts of Israel, is the result of a massive failure of Israeli intelligence agencies.
Colossal failure of Mossad?
Israel did not even get a chance to recover due to the sudden attack on Israel by Hamas. According to the Israeli Army, Hamas terrorists fired more than 3000 rockets into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Hundreds of Hamas fighters entered the Israeli border by air, land and sea. Hours after the attack began, Hamas extremists were still firing at several Israeli areas. Where did the intelligence department go wrong?
According to media reports, about 300 people died and about 1500 people were injured in Israel’s retaliatory attack towards Gaza Strip. Experts say Israel has always been proud of its intelligence agencies, its domestic unit Shin Bet and especially its external spy agency Mossad, but this attack shows its intelligence failure. At the same time, some experts also say that Israel became so busy in its efforts to counter Iran and thwart the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program that it ignored its own area.
The Times of Israel quoted Amos Yadlin, a former intelligence chief, as saying that the attack reflected an intelligence failure. According to the news of a leading portal Ynetnews, in the security cabinet meeting held late on Saturday night, Israeli ministers said that the army should answer about the failure of its intelligence. The ministers criticized Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, claiming that he did not get time to give the information on Saturday. Some wondered whether he wanted to avoid tough questions about the failure of military intelligence to detect the Hamas plot, the news portal reported.
Science and Technology Minister Ofir Akunis said that every Israeli citizen wants to know how such an intelligence failure happened. He said, why are the Chief of Staff and the Intelligence Chief not here now? We need more information. Israeli government officials appeared concerned about Israel’s preparedness in a war-like situation and inspected shelter centers across the country. Israel recently agreed to a ceasefire with Hamas, but some experts said warnings were ignored due to domestic political constraints. Former Israeli Navy chief Eli Maron told the media, the whole of Israel is asking itself, where is the Israeli Defense Force, where is the police, where is the security? This is a huge intelligence failure.

Rocket Attack On Israel : Sirens were heard across the country due to continuous massive bomb blasts in Israel on Saturday morning. Hamas has taken responsibility for this attack. Palestinian militants operating in the Gaza Strip fired dozens of rockets towards Israel early on Saturday, causing sirens to sound across the country alerting them to air strikes. After the rockets were fired by the militants, chances of war appear to be brewing. The sounds of rockets being fired towards Israel echoed in the sky of the Gaza Strip, while the sound of sirens alerting Israel against air strikes was also heard in the country’s economic and cultural capital Tel Aviv, about 70 kilometers to the north.
Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue agency said a 70-year-old woman was seriously injured when a rocket hit a building in southern Israel. According to the agency, apart from this, a 20-year-old youth suffered minor injuries due to rocket shrapnel. There was no immediate reaction from Israel. However, the Israeli army usually launches airstrikes in response to rocket fire, due to which the threat of war is visible. No one has yet claimed responsibility for firing the rocket, but Israel holds the Hamas militant group responsible for carrying out such attacks.
