    Police said that the accident happened late Saturday night near Tanakhar village on National Highway No. 130 (Katghora-Ambikapur Road). A police official said that the victims were going to Bilaspur from their native place in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district to pick up their father.

    He told that the truck collided with the SUV, due to which both of them died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Gyan Dubey and Prem Dubey, aged between 22 and 25, the official said.

    He said that after the accident, the truck driver fled from the spot along with the vehicle. He said that efforts are being made to trace the truck driver.
