  • Heavy rain warning in MP and Chhattisgarh; Orange alert in Jharkhand, danger is high in these districts

    Heavy rains have started once again in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department says that the weather will remain bad in Madhya Pradesh for the next 24 hours. Whereas in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand the weather is going to be bad from October 3 to 4. According to the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert of heavy rain has been issued in four districts of Madhya Pradesh, while light to moderate rain can be recorded in Chhattisgarh. An ‘Orange Alert’ has been issued for extremely heavy rain in some parts of Jharkhand.

    Warning of heavy rain in four districts of MP
    Madhya Pradesh Weather Report: There may be heavy rain in four districts of Madhya Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the formation of a new system over the Bay of Bengal, the weather has worsened in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some districts of Bhopal, Jabalpur, Indore, Ujjain and Sagar divisions of Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain may occur in parts of Rewa, Sidhi, Anuppur and Singrauli districts of the state. There may be drizzle and thundershowers in Seoni, Katni, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Narmadapuram, Khargone, Khargone, Damoh, Panna and Betul and other parts of Madhya Pradesh.

    Warning of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh also
    Chhattisgarh Weather Update: The weather will remain bad in Chhattisgarh also till October 3. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in many districts of Chhattisgarh. There is also a possibility of lightning at some places. There may also be light rain with thunder in the state capital Raipur. The Meteorological Department says that there may be heavy rain with thunder in some parts of the state. There are chances of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh on October 3 also.

    Orange alert in Jharkhand
    Jharkhand Weather Forecast: Eight people have died in the last 24 hours due to heavy rain and lightning in Jharkhand. Continuous rain is being recorded in many parts of Jharkhand since Saturday evening. Many rivers are in spate due to heavy rains in the state. Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert of heavy to very heavy rain in parts of Lohardaga, Gumla and Simdega during the next 24 hours. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that due to low pressure, it is raining heavily in Jharkhand.

According to the latest update shared by IMD, Jharkhand will receive widespread light to moderate rain on September 20 and 22. During this period, warning of thunderstorm and lightning has been issued at some places. There is a possibility of widespread moderate rain in most parts of Chhattisgarh during September 20 to 22. An alert of heavy rain with strong winds and thunderstorm has been issued at some places.

    The All India Weather Bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department said that a cyclonic circulation is located over the east-central Bay of Bengal. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form in and around North West Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours. It will be very strong. Its impact will be clearly visible on the plains as well. There is also a low pressure area over southeast Rajasthan through which a trough is extending to the southeast Arabian Sea. Another Monsoon trough is moving southeastwards through Jaisalmer, Ajmer in Rajasthan and Shivpuri, Sidhi in Madhya Pradesh up to east-central Bay of Bengal.

    Overall, excellent conditions remain for heavy rains in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. According to the information shared by the local weather office, a monsoon trough line is passing through Daltonganj and Jamshedpur. Due to this it is raining in different parts of Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in most parts of Jharkhand till September 21.

    There is a possibility of torrential rain in Jharkhand on September 22 also. Overall, this week is going to be wet for Jharkhand. Four people have died due to lightning in Palamu, Jharkhand. It is said that these incidents of lightning occurred at different places in Palamu on Sunday evening. There were incidents of lightning in Chainpur, Naudiha and Hussainabad blocks in which four people including a child died. Post mortem of all of them was done on Monday.
