  • CG CRIME NEWS: Dispute during drinking, youth killed by attacking with a bottle on the neck, police searching for the accused

    Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. A young man was killed in a dispute during drinking. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot. The attacker attacked the young man with a liquor bottle. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation by registering a case. This incident took place at the old bus stand of Tarbahar police station area.

    According to the information, Rahul Singh, who lived in Chanduabhatha near CMD College, worked in a private institute. Last night he went to the old bus stand with some of his friends. Where he was sitting with his friends and drinking alcohol. During this time, he had an argument with a young man over something. During the argument, the young man broke the liquor bottle and attacked Rahul’s neck. Rahul was bleeding in the attack, he tried to run away, but fell about 50 meters away, due to the attack on the neck, Rahul died in agony right there.

    As soon as the information of the incident was received, the people nearby informed the police. As soon as the information of the murder was received, SP Rajnesh Singh and police officers also reached the spot. The police team started gathering information about the murderer by interrogating the people nearby, but till now no clue of the murderer has been found.

    Case 1- The wife of Ramadhar Tiwari, who lives in Ratanpur, filed a petition demanding compassionate appointment for her younger son after her husband’s death. It was said that her husband was working as an Assistant Sub-Inspector in the Police Department. He died during service on 20 August 2007. After which his wife applied to the Bilaspur SP in October and December 2007 for compassionate appointment to her younger son Dinanath Tiwari.

    The application was rejected in August 2012. The reason given for this was that Dinanath’s elder brother Kedarnath is working as a Shiksha Karmi class-3. A petition was filed in 2014 challenging this decision. The court rejected the petition after hearing all the parties in the case.

    Case 2- Similarly, Yash Mishra, a resident of Baikunthpur, was given compassionate appointment after his father’s death. His mother Sunita Mishra was a lecturer. In the year 2018, the department relieved her from service on the basis of his mother being in a government job. A petition was filed in the High Court regarding this. Yash had told in his application that at the time of his father’s death, he was studying engineering in Bhilai. His father had brain cancer. The entire amount was spent on his treatment. After his father’s death, he left his studies and applied for compassionate appointment. The court rejected his petition after hearing.

    Case 3- Suman’s father Ram Murti Sharma, a resident of Kanker, was working as a rural health organizer. He died in June 2019, after which Suman applied for compassionate appointment in the CMHO office of Rajnandgaon in July 2019. Her application was rejected on the basis that her brother Raman Sharma was working as a Shiksha Karmi class-1 Biology in a government school in Kanker, regarding which she filed a petition in the court, but after hearing her petition was rejected.

Risda sub-health center of Masturi was found closed. One has to reach the center through mud.

    Bilha’s Paunsara Arogya Kendra was also found closed. During the inspection of PHC Pachpedi, most of the employees were found absent. The NQAS team arrived for inspection at PHC Hardikala Tona. The arrangements were found good at PHC Lakhram. Karma Sub Health Center of Bilha Block was closed. Mangala and Bandhavapara PHCs of the city were closed before time. Additional Tehsildar Shashi Bhushan Soni inspected the Kenda PHC. Two Medical Officers, both RMAs and other employees were found absent. The Sub Health Center was found closed. This center opens occasionally.

    Salary of absent teachers will be deducted

The first pediatric cadaver liver transplant was done on an 11-year-old child from Mandla under the leadership of Dr. Sandeep Dave, Medical and Managing Director at the Ramakrishna Care Hospital in the capital.     The child was suffering from a disease called liver cirrhosis for 06 years. The child was suffering from jaundice, his stomach was getting filled with water and the child was getting weaker day by day. For this, he needed a liver transplant, which the doctor had informed his family about, but due to no donor being available in the family, liver transplant was not possible, due to which the family was wandering in many big cities for liver treatment. The child was being treated in Ramakrishna Care Hospital for 2 months and the patient had registered his name in the waiting list of Soto Chhattisgarh for cadaveric liver transplant.

    In Chhattisgarh, a patient was declared brain dead, whose family expressed their wish to donate the patient’s organs and agreed to donate them. The hospital administration informed Soto Chhattisgarh about this. The child’s family was informed. The special thing is that the liver that was transplanted to the child was the entire liver of an older patient. The child is completely healthy and is able to live his regular life.

    The liver transplant of the patient was done under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Sandeep Dave, Medical and Managing Director. The patient expressed special thanks for this. Dr. SN Madharia contributed in the treatment of the child, due to which the patient was able to get a liver and the patient is completely healthy today.

Minister Devangan reviewed the works related to the National Highway and especially taking cognizance of the condition of Keshkal Ghat, directed the officers to ensure the repair of the Keshkal Ghat road, so that the journey of the common people is safe and smooth.

    Minister Lakhanlal said, the solution of public problems should be ensured on priority. He discussed various issues in the meeting and gave strict instructions to the officials. During this, he reviewed other important schemes including Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, power system, agriculture, minerals, forest and urban development.

    Minister-in-charge Lakhanlal Devangan reviewed the works related to the National Highway and especially taking cognizance of the condition of Keshkal Ghat, directed the officials to ensure the repair of Keshkal Ghat road, so that the travel of common people is safe and smooth. He took information about the works being done in the district under Jal Jeevan Mission and directed the officials to identify the problems related to water supply schemes and solve them on priority. He also asked to ensure that the availability of pure drinking water to the common citizens is ensured on a regular basis from the water supply scheme. He directed to complete the work on the ongoing schemes at the earliest.

    While reviewing the electricity system of the district, Minister-in-charge Devangan directed the officials to resolve the problems related to power supply immediately. He stressed on ensuring that farmers and other citizens get electricity regularly without any interruption. He expressed satisfaction over the progress of housing construction work under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and directed to complete the remaining houses as soon as possible.

    During the meeting, MP Bastar Mahesh Kashyap stressed on ensuring quality construction works in accordance with technical parameters. MLA Kondagaon Lata Usendi said that the works of Jal Jeevan Mission should be completed soon. During this, MLA Keshkal Neelkanth Tekam stressed on the repair of solar lights installed under urban bodies.

    Collector Kunal Dudawat gave detailed information about the development works and implementation of public welfare schemes in the district in the meeting and said that pure drinking water is being successfully provided in 77 villages of Kondagaon block of the district under Jal Jeevan Mission. Under the mission, a target of 1,26,713 tap connections has been set in the district, out of which 98,427 connections have been completed so far. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 15,994 houses have been sanctioned in the district, out of which construction of 11,523 houses has been completed.

    During the meeting, the works of Mineral Trust Fund, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, schemes of Women and Child Development Department, delimitation of Nagar Palika Parishad and Nagar Panchayat and progress of construction of urban housing were also reviewed. District public representatives, Superintendent of Police Y Akshay Kumar and district level officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
